Alexa and Clawdeen walk into the library and split up, Alexa finds them a secluded table while Cawdeen finds the books.

"I got them." Clawdden says, placing the mini stack of books down.

As the pair both work through the books, they hear a faint whispering and look at each other confused. "Hello? Somebody there?" The light then flicks and turns off and a bunsen burner turns on. "Okay Ghoulia, you got us." Clawdeen freaks out.

I look around as I feel a chill down my back and start to panic. "Clawdeen." I whisper and look over to see her just as panicked. "Please, this isn't funny." Alexa then shouts out to the empty space.

Alexa's heart begins to speed up as she realised no one is out there. She looked around and tried to calm herself down and find a source of the sound. She felt her hands shaking and looked down to see them turning into human hands. She then felt her whole body changed  and her hair turned into wavy blonde hair. "Please no! No, no, no."

Clawdeen also panicked as Alexa watched her turn into a normal human being. The lights freaked out again as Clawdeen backed up into the book shelves again. "Clawdeen stop! I know how to fix this!" Alexa shouted after her friend.

Alexa followed Clawdeen and they stopped when they heard a voice. "Hello?"

They both turned to the voice and screamed.

Frankie poured something in a drink for Clawdeen to try after Alexa helped get them both back to monster form.

"What is this?" Clawdeen asked as she picked the drink up.

"Magnesium carbonate. It's very calming." Frankie answered her. "Honestly, I don't see what the big deal is." Frankie said looking between the girls.

"We are a real, live living human." Clawdeen freaked out.

"Well, half of us is..." Alexa corrected her.

Frankie looked between us and put something together. "This is why you asked about monsters transforming?" Frankie said, making Alexa frown at the unknown topic.

"Yes, and you heard what Mr Komos said. It didn't turn out so great for Hyde." Clawdeen looked at Frankie scared.

"We need to fix this. We can't continue our lives like this. What if we get boyfriends and he finds out?! That would end terribly for us." Alexa then panicked as the girls looked at her.

"Wow, this is a pickle." Frankie picked up a jar with a pickle in and put it down again. "How can I help?"

"Okay uh..." Clawdeen stuttered, trying to get with it.

"Hyde, he had a cure to make half monster pure and we are trying to find it." Alexa started to help out.

"We hoped his old lab journals would have some clues but its all gobbledygook." Clawdeen then said and pushed the journal to Frankie.

"No idea what gobbledygook is but it sounds delicious." Frankie said making Alexa giggle. "Oh, that's not handwriting. That's code." Frankie flipped through the pages.

"How did you--" Clawdeen went to ask.

"Alan Turning's cortex." Frankie said casually. "He cracked the German code in World War II and saved the world. He was awesome." Frankie raved about him. "This is definitely Hydes diary." They pulled out a notebook and started to write down what they read. "I've never felt so happy. I feel like I finally belong."

"I can relate to that." Clawdeen said.

"Me too." Alexa joined in.

"I need to hide work. It's too dangerous working in the school lab." Frankie read out loud.

"Where did he hide it?" Clawdeen looked at Alexa excited then back at Frankie.

"What's this?" They pointed to something and wrote it down. "Delimited degrees, minutes, seconds." Frankie looked up and shut the book. "They're map coordinates." Frankie walked over to the maps and began their search ha Ding off the useless maps to Clawdeen and Alexa. Once Frankie found the one they need, they rolled it out on the map table.

Frankie ran their finger across the map and smiled. "Coordinates point their, the campus graveyard but that's strictly off limits." Frankie realised making Alexa smirk.

"True." Clawdeen said slowly.

"I guess we'll have to be extra sneaky tonight. High five!" Alexa said holding both her hands up. Clawdeen high fived her but Frankie rubbed their hands together.

"We'll need to work on that." Clawdeen pointed as Alexa chuckled. Frankie held their hands higher making the girls laugh.

An hour after searching in the library, Alexa got called to the principals office.

"Sorry, Headmistress Bloodgood. But why am I here?" Alexa seed confused on the awkward silence.

"Yes yes. You are the Invisible Man's daughter correct? Jack Invy?" She asked the girl.

"That's correct."

"He was a good man. Trouble for the most part but fantastic grades and is a close friend to me. You know he used to play tricks on Dracula all the time. It would get hik into so much trouble." Headmistress Bloodgood replayed the memory in her head.

"He talks about it a lot. He still loves those times." Alexa smiled at the story.

"Well anyway, I just wanted to welcome you perisbally like I have done for a few others. I would also like to bestow upon you a great honor. Founder's Day is in a few weeks, the day we celebrate the opening of the school when we liberated ourselves from the tyranny of human society. There's an annual dinner, very exclusive,o the schools most important and generous officers, and I've selected you, along with Clawdeen Wolf, to be a student ambassador to it."

Alexa raised her eyebrows at the sudden request and couldn't contain her smile. "Seriously!? Me? Why?"

"Well, uh, your father is a great officer and you are also the first invisible person we have had since him and we would like to share our community limits to everyone." Alexa's face fell slightly at the thought of being used for who she is and not what she can do but put on a fake smile and though about how happy her father would be.

"Of course I will do it. I can discuss plans with Clawdeen anyway as we are roommates."

"Excellent! Thank you Alexa! And don't worry, your father has been on the phone to me and explained your situation with your mother. My condolences..." She said holding a hand on her heart.

"Thank you." She said back then stood up and walked out of the office with a sigh. She looked down as her heart started to pound at the thought of her mother and her hands began to turn human. "Trouble always follows an Invy."
