Hyde's Lab- 10

The next morning, Alexa woke up to Frankie spamming messages to her. She stirred in her spot and felt a pair of arms around her, she looked up to see Deuce fast asleep on hit pillow. All his snakes were asleep except Mo.

She reached over to the boys side table and picked up her phone to read the messages. She swiped open her phone then clicked on Frankie's name. She looked over all of them and only caught certain words, still being half asleep.

The words: Clawdeen, Gone, Need help, find her, were the only ones she truly understood. She must have ran away last night like Alexa had wanted to do. She placed her phone back down, worried about her friend and what she might do. She tried to get up but to no avail. 

 She looked up at Mo then nudged her head towards to get him awake. He must have understood as he gave a curt nod then started to gently nip his face. After about 5 attempts, Deuce finally stirred awake. 

"Sorry, I need to go."Alexa rushed out quietly, not looking at the boy. 

Deuce slowly lifted his arms and put his glasses on. Alexa lifted her head to look at him then sat up on the end of the bed. She shook her hair so it didn't look as messy then grabbed her phone to message Frankie back. 

Alexa:

Be there in 10!

She then read over the rest of the messages and found out she was right in thinking she ran away. She let out a stressed sigh then stood up, looking down at the boy still trying to wake up. 

"I need to go meet Frankie but I should be back later, I'll see you tonight for Founder's Day." Deuce looked over her confused then stood up before she could leave. The girl watched him curiously  as he went into his closet and picked out his black jacket he wore yesterday.

"Wear this. I don't want you to have to wear the same thing as last night." Alexa hesitated, not wanting to take his personal stuff.

"I can't. I'll just get changed back at my dorm." She protested but he ignored her. 

He walked over and pulled it over her shoulders,forcing her to take it. "If it's that urgent you won't have time." She slowly smiled at him then slid her arms in the sleeves then zipped the jacket up slightly. 

"Thank you." She placed her phone in one of the pockets then walked towards the door, she opened it but Deuce stopped her again.

"Alexa." She shot her head round to look at him. "Be safe." 

"Always." She replied, making the boy smile as she walked out, shutting the door. She turned invisible then made her way to the dorm to meet with Frankie. 

Once she made it to the room she watched as Frankie paced back and forth. "Sorry, I'm late." She announced herself as she turned back to normal.

Frankie jumped slightly but then smiled. "Alexa! It's okay. So, Draculaura left in her bat form to find Clawdeen and told me to get you then find them.

"Okay, but how?" Alexa asked her confused.

"Find my fiens." Frankie answered as she held her phone up to see a tracking spot for Clawdeen.

"Okay then. Lets not waste any time." Alexa said as they both left the school.

The pair made it through the portal perfectly fine, thinking of their friends and where they could then ended up in a forest. Alexa looked at the map then realised finding her might take longer than anticipated. Frankie had started to document their journey, which helped them not panic much.
