Hope - 13

The next morning, Clawdeen and Alexa waited outside the front of the school for their fathers to arrive.  When two portals appeared, both of the fathers stepped out in a panic. 

"Clawdeen!" He father shouted as he ran to her.

"Alexa!" Jack then shouted doing the same with his daughter. "I was so worried! I knew something was going to go wrong because--" 

"Trouble always follow an Invy." They both recited. together, making the pair smile.   

"But it's okay. I knew this might happen. I just wanted to help my friend." Alexa looked over at Clawdeen and gave her a pained smile. 

"That's my girl." Jack kissed the top of her head then she pulled away. She looked over at Clawdeen and nodded. 

Clawdeen then turned to Dracula and nodded towards her friend. "We're just gonna say goodbye to our friends." Alexa gave one last look to her father and then the pair headed up the stairs and through the door. They instantly spotted the small group of their friends and had a sad smile. 

"Hey." Clawdeen and Alexa greeted them and walked down the steps.

"Hey."  Draculaura then greeted back

"Alexa." Deuce tried to get the girls attention.

"What did they say?" Frankie asked them but they both shook their heads in sadness.

The four pulled together in a sad group hug. "Clawdeen Wolf, Alexa Invy. Please stop." Headmistress Bloodgood shouted to the group. The two girls walked over to her annoyed

"Headmistress Bloodgood--" Clawdeen started.

"Your father's are not here to take you home." 

"Wait, what?" Alexa looked at the woman confused. 

"You two were never the problem. Komos was. The school is clearly now fine. We've been wrong all these years. An impure monster heart was never about being human. You two have demonstrated as much true monster heart as any students I've ever known. Your mothers would be proud." Bloodgood smiled At the two as their fathers walked over.

"She would be so proud." Cawdeens father said to her.

"Today we are rewriting the school charter. We no longer revile humans, at least not all of them, no matter how tasty their veins may look." Dracula announced to the school.

"We're honored to have you two as students here. That is, if that is what you want." Bloodgood looked at the two surprised faces in front of her.

"Really? Yes, that's what we want." Alexa cheered as she hugged Clawdeen excited. Everyone around them then cheered at the girls success. 

"Silence!" Dracula then shouted to make it quiet. "Headmistress Bloodgood would like to make an announcement." The headmistress made her way to the stairs so she could see everyone. As a crowd formed, many people pulled out their phones to record. "Again with the phones. Does nobody paint anymore?" Alexa heard Dracula ask his daughter. She turned around to watch their interaction, with her father next to her and laugh when Draculaura spotted her.

"Hello, Monster High. I am proud to announce that a new moon has risen over these hallowed halls. From now on, true monster heart will mean exactly that, who you truly are on the inside. And so I ask you to join me in welcoming our first--well, second and third, but first and second officially known students with human blood, Clawdeen Wolf and Alexa Invy!" Headmistress Bloodgood looked at her students proud of what they have become. The girls looked around and watched as their friends cheered for them then spotted Cleo and her group of friends howl. 

"Won't hide behind a lie another single day."  Clawdeen sung as she grabbed a hold on Aexa's hand.

"Won't run away I won't pretend. I'm confident and strong, I'll always be okay." Alexa then sang along.

I'll never doubt myself again." Clawdeen then sung.

"You changed the world, baby cub." Clawdeen looked at her father with a proud smile. 

"Come on. Let me show you my school." Clawdeen took her fathers hand while Alexa had a moment with her father.

"Dad. This is Deuce. He helped me a lot this year." Alexa said, smiling at the boy.
