"Nami did what?!"
Luffy growled, shaking Rira's shoulders violently as she sobbed.
"That's a lie!!"
He pushed her onto the ground, and the brunette didn't fight, just looked up at him with red and puffy eyes.
"I wouldn't lie about something like that... it's what happened, to my knowledge..."
Zoro tried pulling his captain away from the girl, convincing him that Rira was not the person to take anger out on.
"Nami didn't kill Usopp!! We're crewmates, okay?!"
Luffy's eyes were wide, and crazy.
"Captain!! I wouldn't lie to you, please, I'm telling the truth..!!"
The dame grabbed Luffy's wrists, crawling closer and trying to prove her point, she was radiating with ache, the tense air was so thick, it was tangible.
Just then, the dull click of a familiar pair of sandals grew closer. The group reared their heads to see none other than Nami herself.
"Who are you calling crewmate?"
She crossed her arms, her head tilting ever so slightly to the side.
"Why are you on this island, Luffy..."
He stands up, responding in his usual blunt manner.
"To get you, obviously."
"How lovely... anyway, you're just a stupid little boy in a hat. I was never on your crew."
"N-Nami! Do you remember me~?"
"Shut up, you stupid cook!! Read the room!"
"We're outside, not in a room... and I'm in love, you mosshead!!"
The brown haired got up, walking over to Nami and promptly slapped her in the face.
"You damn murderer... I don't know who you think you are!! You're a lousy excuse for a woman, how dare you kill Usopp!!"
She trailed on, before biting her lip, as a method to prevent more tears. Devastation had no place in a pirate's world. Nami rubs her cheek, completely uninterested.
"What are you gonna do, avenge him? You'll never make it as a pirate Rira, if so, you're prob'ly the weakest one."
The brunette clenched her fists, keeping herself quiet.
"Listen up, after what Zoro did in Arlong Park, the whole crew is after his head. No matter how strong you are, Arlong is stronger."
The orange haired broad spoke to no one in particular, but she secretly hoped for everyone to just leave without a fight.
"I don't care. Where's Usopp, wench?"
Zoro interrupts her, and she quips back.
"Bottom of the sea."
"That's it, I'm not gonna take any more of this."
He dashes at her, before his attempts were met with a swift kick.
"I can't take any more of you!!"
The two men stood across from each other, yet another confrontation brewing.
"Would a swordsman really threaten a lady?"
"You don't know shit about fuck, so don't try to get involved."
"Someone's still upset about his defeat."
Sanji smirks, much to Zoro's chagrin.
"I'll cut your perverted head right off..."
"Try it, bitch."
Rira interrupted the two, placing her two hands on each of their shoulders and giving them a firm glare.
"Now is not the time to fight. We can deal with this any other day. I think if I felt any more discomfort I would implode. No cutting heads off, I've had my fill of loss for the day."
"Right, fight somewhere other than this island,"
Nami's voice started again, catching the eyes of the other lass.
"I want all of you to leave. I only bothered for your money, now there's no more so I don't care. You can take your ship back, and go find another navigator. Just leave!"
"Nami."
Luffy fell back, lying on the ground.
"I'm gonna nap."
"Nap?! You're a dumbass!!"
"I don't really feel like leaving. So, yeah."
"Fine!! It doesn't concern me!!"
Nami walked off, and then Rira started to sniffle again, crying once more. She reached up to wipe her eyes, and was met with Zoro's hand on her back.
"Hey. Don't even pay her any mind. Don't cry. We have things to do, and we can't do them without all the crew working together."
His words soothed her, and the lump sank back down her throat. She hummed in agreement.
"Right."
Usopp was walking through the village, seriousness etched on his face. He thought back to his altercation with Nami, and how instead of stabbing him, she opted to stab her hand instead.
"Zoro's in Cocoyashi.. or was... so I need to find him again! Arlong said he was looking for him, so he must be going to- Arlong Park!! I have to stop him!!"
He ran as fast as his legs would take him.
Rira sat in the grass, sighing.
"I still don't wanna believe Nami killed him..."
"Well, maybe when I called her small-time, she developed a grudge and offed him."
Zoro's intention was actually to rile up Sanji, and it worked. He yelled at him.
"Small-time?!"
One more time, they got into a fight, Rira deciding to lie back instead of breaking it up. However, Usopp had spotted Zoro, and sprinted to him, but his timing was horrible.
"There's nothing small-time about Nami's boobs!!"
"That's not what I meant, pervert!!"
The two had launched attacks at each other, but on the contrary, they both hit Usopp, smashing his face in.
"Oh..."
"Usopp?"
The marksman faced a second attack, albeit one of Rira's arms around his neck. She bounced up and down, squeezing him tightly.
"Usopp!! You're alive! You heartless bastard, you! Makin' me so worried!!"
She grinned from ear to ear, even though she was lecturing him.
"Say you're sorry, you damn jackass!!"
He awkwardly pats her back, confused at her contradictory behavior.
"I'm sorry... yeah, sorry..."
He mutters, feeling like his ribs would crack.
God, Luffy picked up a handful...
