The ride to Kakariko Village was much faster on horses. No one got tired of moving, and the fact that there were no monsters on the rest of the route made things much better. They traveled north and across a smaller bridge that was made of similar stone and designs as Proxim Bridge which they had crossed over earlier. After they crossed the bridge they faced a sheer wall of rock, and the route curved to the right and up a somewhat steep slope along the rock facing. At the top of the slope they continued north again inside a winding grassy ravine between tall plateaus of rock. The rocky walls were several stories tall, and the tall round hills that they had seen from the stable stood atop the plateaus.
Finally, the ravine opened up to reveal a small village that was nestled in a small valley in between the surrounding plateaus and mountains. They had entered from the east entrance, which was the highest point in the village, and they could see the entire place laid out in front of them. Kakariko Village was a peaceful town, settled long ago by the remnants of the sheikah tribes, and it had been their home ever since. The village's houses were reminiscent of ancient Japanese homes, including square wooden structures and large and sturdy domes for roofs that made them look like giant turtle shells. Each house was only one story tall. Apple trees and gardens dotted the earth, and a small stream from a little waterfall ran quietly down the slopes of the center of the valley to a small pond that had formed near the bottom of the valley.
Past the little pond they could see an area of flat ground which seemed to be the village square. At the back of the square was a staircase that led up to the largest house in the village which sat on an elevated rock formation in the center of a larger pond, and it was surrounded by hills and several waterfalls which fed into the pond. All in all, Kakariko felt extremely cozy with the surrounding plateaus swaddling the village as if protecting it from the outside world, and the apparent simplicity of life here.
They rode slowly into the town, off to the side of the village and down the sloping street. They began passing houses, shops and local townspeople as they admired the place. The sheikah were not their own race, but more like their own variation of hylian. While hylians had all different varieties of hair and skin colors, the sheikah all had light skin complexions and bright white hair. It was also known that sheikah could live for well over a hundred years, compared to the eighty years hylians were known to live until. As they traveled down the beaten path, the locals greeted them kindly, bowing to them as they passed. Soon, Jordan found what he was looking for: the clothing store.
Enchanted had been a staple in Kakariko Village for at least several decades, and Jordan knew from his gaming experience that they were famous among hylian clothing enthusiasts. When they reached the store, they jumped down from their horses and tethered them to a tree before heading inside what looked like just another Kakariko house with a simple door for an entrance. As the last person closed the door behind them, Jordan heard a woman's voice from the counter on the other end of the store.
"Hello! Welcome to my high-end boutique! What would you five be interested in today?" a young sheikah woman stood at the counter with her arms spread out in a welcoming gesture and a wide smile on her face. She pointed towards the walls, where her clothing had been put on display, "We have the regular hylian clothes made new in stock, but we also have a special type of clothing found nowhere else! The Stealth Set! These clothes were modified so that when worn, they cut down on the sound you make, and essentially make you a fashionable ninja! So what will it be?!"
"Thank you for the explanations." Jordan told her kindly, the clothing that he wanted already in mind, "I think I will settle for....some hylian trousers, a hood, and the stealth chestplate. How much would that cost?
