They split ways, Jordan headed southwest, and everyone else headed east up the path. Jordan went back towards the edge of town, towards the entrance and took a left, going up a small hill, past the local Sheikah shrine and going across a bridge over a small pond that led to a lone moderately sized house. Around the east and south sides of the house the hill took a steep incline so that the house seemed to be built in a corner. Two men were sitting next to a fire under the shade of a sizable tree in front of the house, just as Jordan had hoped. He struck up a conversation with the smaller man wearing bright pink garments, and hoped for the best.

"Hello! You must be Bolson, I take it?"

"Why yes I am." The man, who appeared to be in his early fifties, said with a flamboyant tinge in his voice that was unlike what he had heard from other hylians so far. The man had a completely gray goatee, and had a rather skinny stature. He wore a pink sirwal and a navy blue blazer and "How do you know of me?" Once again, Jordan decided to use complimentary vocabulary to give a better impression, and it wasn't hard considering what he was going to say was true.

"My name is Jordan. I've heard of your excellence in construction. The homes you make are wonderful." he told the man honestly. Bolson beamed.

"Why thank you very much. What is it that you need from me?"

"Well you see, me and my companions were kicked out of our homes by our parents, so we seek to build a life here." he lied, but it wasn't like telling the truth would get him anywhere, "We were thinking of trying to buy a house-"

"This one is taken." Bolson gestured behind him at the house which was around the size of an average middle class American home with a sizable garden attached to it. "In fact, it was supposed to be knocked down, but some kid not much older than you, actually bought the place instead. Just a couple days ago, actually."

"Well if I can't buy this house, could you build a new one for us?" Jordan suggested innocently. "I've heard that Bolson Co. is the master of home construction."

"We could." the builder seemed to be contemplating the idea in his head before his eyes returned to Jordan again. "But you would need the funds, and I mean lots of funds. What do you do for a living? Are you a merchant?"

"I do some merchandise, but I work more as a swordsman and monster hunter. I have about six thousand rupees with me right now." he offered to show that he was already capable of obtaining an extensive sum of money. Bolson nodded in approval of the number, seemingly a little impressed.

"Hmm...alright. What kind of house would you want us to build?" he challenged Jordan, obviously trying to pick his mind to see if he had a plan, trying to decide if Jordan was a good business partner.

Jordan explained that he would want the house built at the top of the hill next to the house they were standing in front of. There was a substantial amount of flat ground at the top of the hill that created a border for the southern edge of the village, considering that it was a sheer wall of rock from the center of town. Besides the wall of rock, there was also a small pond between the wall and the houses, which was why the small plateau could only be accessed by walking up the switchbacks from the hill on the eastern side of the village, which took time to reach.

However, Jordan saw the possibility of installing a small staircase up a section of the rocky wall by the shrine across the bridge from where they stood, which would make the small plateau much more accessible. That way, they would be able to have an easily accessible home that would also be overlooking the center of town. Because of this location, it would also grant them easier access to Ebon Mountain, which was the tallest peak in the vicinity of Hateno Village. It stood just south of the plateau and the village, but it was only higher than the plateau he was looking to build on by maybe 10-15 meters, and it was a quick five-minute hike to the peak of the mountain.
