Ruby was nervous to say the least. The cast had the day off today, which meant Kylie, Malia and Morgan were helping Ruby get ready for her date with Mel. "How about this? No, it's too short." She throws the dress in the corner along with the other discarded clothing that she threw. "Ruby! Would you just pick something? You're gonna look beautiful no matter what!" Kylie groans as she buries the pillow into her face. "I know but i wanna look perfect! Morgan, what do you think?" Morgan looks up from her phone. "What's up? Sorry, i was texting Tristan." Ruby rolls her eyes. "You guys are no help at all!" She decided to go with a black ruffled top with a sheer mid section and a simple pair of jeans.

She takes one last look in the mirror and exits the bathroom. "Ooh damn girl!" Morgan smirks. "Seriously, Rube, that exposed waist? But not really exposed? Mel won't be able to keep her hands off you." Kylie smirks. Ruby blushes. "Shut up!" Malia laughs. "Well, i think you look great, Ruby." "Thank you Malia." She smiles. "Even if that outfit is gonna be thrown across the floor tonight." Everyone gasps. "Malia Baker!" Kylie shouts. Ruby's phone goes off in her hand.

"Oh god, she's on the way! Help me, I'm getting nervous." Ruby tells them. "Honey, that's just gay panic, you'll be fine." Morgan tells her. "That's not funny Morgan!" Ruby scolds. "Seriously, Rube. Mel is crazy about you, in case you couldn't tell?" Kylie smiles. "Is she really? I don't know, sometimes i just, i feel like she isn't really into me all that much." "Are you kidding? Please tell me you're joking." Kylie looks at her. Malia walks up to her and grabs her hands. "Ok, Ruby. Breathe....thank you. Mel is crazy about you. Even if she isn't, she's a sweetheart. If she's taking you out on this date, it's because she likes you and she wants you to have a good time. So have a good time. Enjoy it. Live in the moment. We all know Mel is a great gal. And if she likes you then you must be one too. And we all know she's gonna treat you like a princess." "Oh yeah!" "Definitely!" Ruby blushes. "Thanks guys." The doorbell rings. "Oh god, that's her!" They all roll their eyes. "Ruby!" "Ok, ok. I'll calm down." She goes to the door and opens it. Mel was dressed in a simple black t-shirt and pants. "Hey! You look amazing." She smiles. Ruby blushes. "Thanks, let me just get my phone and purse." She walks over to the couch and grabs her things while the rest of them give her a thumbs up. She rolls her eyes and leaves the house.
"I'm going to assume the girls are at your place right now?" Mel asks. "Yup." Ruby nods. "Well, if they're still there when we get back, feel free to gossip all about tonight." She smiles. "Oh yeah? What if it ends badly?" "Then Ky will kill me tomorrow." Ruby laughs. "You mean she'll try and kill you. We all know you're the strongest out of all of us." Mel shakes her head. "No, she'll kill me. I'm not fighting her and I'm not stopping her." Ruby looks at her confused. "Wait, you'd let her put you in the hospital?" Mel nods. "Yeah, cause i know she'd do it with good reason and the only for that being would be me breaking your heart. And I don't intend to do that, but if that somehow happens, i would want her to hit me, hurt me, put me in the hospital. Cause that would be the stupidest thing i could ever do." Ruby smiles at her. She leans over and kisses her cheek. "Anyways, where are we going?" "Santa Monica Pier." Mel smiles.
