Will was walking through the corridors when he felt someone following him, to be precise, some people.
When he turned around he saw the band members. When they noticed him turning around , they all started looking in different directions .
Will thought to himself 'ofc it had to be them, but why are they acting like this. I have been seeing them for few days , acting like they have done nothing? Are they dumb or are they acting like dumb...'
Will ignored them and headed straight to the cafeteria. He was starting to eat the food , When he felt someone sitting near him.
It was max . "Hey "
"Hi" Will replied hesitantly
Max:" um.. I am max , u might know...um actually I wanted to ask u if u want to be my friend..."
Will remained silent. He thought huh? Max ....max mayfield wants to be my friend??
Will replied :" is that why you guys were following me around? To ask if I want to be ur friend..."
Max :" wait ... u saw us ...I mean we were obvious but still... and no actually, it was something else , which I can't tell you at the moment. But for the least I would like to be ur friend. Cuz u seem to be quite an interesting person. u're so quiet, shy ... you look wise enough and different from those idiot friends of mine..."
Will :" haha...sure actually I would like to be ur friend too. "
And thus max and will became friends .
Slowly days past by. The Day of the wedding went by... miss sherly brake became Mrs sherly Reeves as much for will and gwenny's disappointment. The school days were going great for will now that he had a Friend Max. Max did not say anything about mike. They slowly became best friends within few months, marked with Going to each other's homes, playing games , going to the arcade , doing FaceTimes etc. Even gwenny became fond of max. Mike became really jealous but he would only blame his cowardness.
Slowly will started to befriend the band members. They started to have dnd campaign together. They hung out more. And will was also added to their friend group in the phone. They together visited Steve and Robin and bought ice creams and snuck in theaters and watched movies. Will used to stay back to hear their band practice along with gwenny. Mike and will's interaction was only problem out there. They both had a major tension that none other can solve.
It was now in Mike's Hands to befriend will and ask him out.
