Y/N's POV
The morning air was crisp as we made our way to King's Cross Station. Remus walked beside me, carrying my trunk as I held onto my ticket and owl cage. My heart raced with both excitement and nerves. I was finally going to Hogwarts!!
We stopped just before the barrier between platforms 9 and 10. I stared at the brick wall that would lead me to Platform 9 ¾, where the Hogwarts Express awaited.
"You ready?" Remus asked gently, placing a hand on my shoulder. His eyes were warm but clouded with a sadness I hadn't seen before.
I nodded. "Yeah, I think so."
Remus gave me a small smile and pulled me into a tight hug. "You'll be alright. Hogwarts is a good place. And if you ever need me... well, you know how to reach me."
I hugged him back, my arms tightening around him. "Thank you, for everything," I whispered.
He pulled away, his hands still resting on my shoulders. "Go on now, before you miss the train." He gave me a final pat on the back, nodding towards the barrier.
I took one last breath and gripped the handle of my trolley and pushed it towards the wall. In an instant, the world shifted, and I found myself standing on Platform 9 ¾, the gleaming red train waiting in front of me, steam billowing into the air.
A pang of sadness at leaving him behind, but I knew this was the beginning of a new chapter. As I boarded the train, I tried to push away the worries that had been eating at me. I was finally going to Hogwarts, and I wanted to make the most of it.
