After an exhausting study session, Dongmin finally wrapped up his assignments and leaned back with a sigh. He scrolled through his messages, smirking when he saw the last conversation he’d had with Woonhak yesterday. Something in him couldn't resist checking in on the chaos-prone idiot.
Dongmin:
Did you... ever come out of the closet?Woonhak left him on "seen" for a few seconds, and Dongmin was almost relieved, hoping maybe the guy had finally gone silent. But then, he saw the typing bubble pop up.
Woonhak:
👀Dongmin:
I regret asking already.Woonhak:
You want me to come out?
I didn’t know you felt that way about me, Taesanie~ ;)Dongmin’s eyes narrowed. He should’ve expected this.
Dongmin:
I meant from hiding in the closet, you moron. Not... whatever it is you're thinking.Woonhak:
Oh, you’re the one who texted first, asking about me. Looks like someone missed me. 😎Dongmin sighed, leaning his head back in exasperation.
Dongmin:
I'm going to seen zone you.Woonhak:
Nooo, don’t do that! I was just kidding. I’ve been out of the closet for years—wait, that sounded worse. I mean, I’ve been out since yesterday.Dongmin rolled his eyes, wondering why he bothered. Somehow, he always ended up texting this guy, only to be met with levels of absurdity he couldn’t have imagined.
Dongmin:
Remind me why I texted you again?Woonhak:
Because deep down, you care about my well-being. 💖Dongmin:
Deep down, I was curious if you survived your idiocy. But I’m regretting my decision.Woonhak:
Awww, Taesan, don’t be like that. You’re basically my best friend now. 😌Dongmin grimaced, half-laughing at the sheer nerve of this guy.
Dongmin:
I'd rather swallow glass. Now, tell me what happened next, so I can stop feeling bad for texting you.The response was immediate, as if Woonhak had been eagerly waiting for him to ask.
Woonhak:
Oh, right. After the whole flour thing, my grandma ratted me out to our mom.Dongmin burst out laughing. He could just imagine the scene, Woonhak’s sister marching off to their mom with their grandma, ready to throw him under the bus.
Dongmin:
You got snitched on by your grandma? Wow, you’re a true mastermind.Woonhak:
Hey! It’s not my fault she’s a traitor! She teamed up with my sister after the flour disaster, and they both ganged up on me.Dongmin:
I’m amazed you’re still alive.Woonhak:
Oh, I wish I wasn’t. My mom lectured me for an hour about "being responsible" and "acting my age." Like, where’s the fun in that?Dongmin couldn’t help smirking. It sounded exactly like the kind of scolding Woonhak would earn for his antics.
Dongmin:
Maybe she just wants you to stop being a walking disaster.Woonhak:
Thanks for explaining 😒Dongmin:
Sure. So, what did your mom do after the lecture?Woonhak:
Well, my sister stormed off to wash her hair again, and I was banned from touching anything that’s not mine for the rest of the week.Dongmin:
Good. That means you can’t cause any more destruction... hopefully.Woonhak:
Hopefully? You doubt my ability to be chaotic without touching stuff? You underestimate me, Taesan.Dongmin:
No, I fully understand how much of a disaster you can be.Woonhak:
😭 That hurts.Dongmin:
You’ll survive.Woonhak:
Maybe. But only because you care enough to check on me.Dongmin grinned, feeling a strange satisfaction in the banter.
Dongmin:
Don't make me regret it.Woonhak:
Too late, you already do.-๑๑-
Hello, I'm back again. I was mentally exhausted. I changed the style of texting here because it's easier to edit and read this way. I'll try to update regularly from now on. If I don't, please remind me in the comments.
