Millie
"I'm s-sorry but I need to g-go...My f-friend is waiting for me. She n-needs me..." I lie while gesturing to my phone, hoping he will take the hint and leave me alone.
I'm not interested, move on.
"I'm Noah, nice to meet you. What's your name?" He responds as he takes a few steps in my direction, the message I've been trying to send falling on deaf ears.
Why doesn't he get the hint?
"I'm Millie..." I trail off after swallowing the lump in my throat, trying to ignore the wave of fear crashing over me.
He's so creepy...
"Millie? Now thinking about it, I think I've already met you before...." He explains and the way he says my name sends a shiver down my spine. My cheeks heat when his eyes start licking every inch of my body, my dress feels too tight and suffocating under his penetrating gaze.
Maybe wearing this dress wasn't a good idea after all...
"W-where?" I manage to ask before sucking in a sharp breath. However, as someone who has a good memory for faces, I can tell I've never met him before.
"I think I saw you...in my dreams." He explains in a quiet, serious tone, while his lips curve into a smile full of mischief. My mouth opens and closes like a fish, unsure how to respond at his flirting technique.
"T-that's a good one but—" I start speaking, trying to find the right words to say, as my heart kicks against my ribs.
"Oh, you have a boyfriend?" He cuts me off before I have a chance to finish voicing my thoughts.
"Y-yeah, my heart is already taken." I respond as I straighten my spine to regain some composure and take a few steps back.
"Where is he? I don't see him." Noah replies, never taking his brown eyes off me, before closing the enjoyable distance separating us. I shiver and bile rises up in my throat at the intensity of his gaze.
"Well, she—" I deadpan, the words slipping out of lips before I can stop them. Then, something passes in Noah's eyes before he bursts out of laughing.
"Wait, you like pussies? You're gay? Please, tell me you're kidding. What a fucking waste..." He chuckles, his words vibrating through me as I struggle to keep my emotions at the bay.
"I t-think I should go. Enjoy the party." I tell him as I ball my fists in anger and turn on my heels, not sparing him a second glance.
"Wait! I'm sorry if I went too far..." Noah bellows and a yelp escapes my throat the moment I feel a hand latching on my arm and spinning me around.
"T-take your hands off me, please!" I state before wincing at the tight hold on my arm.
"I just wanna talk, relax and stop being so fucking dramatic. I'm trying to be nice but you're getting on my last nerves." Noah speaks, and the warning in his tone doesn't go unnoticed.
