Suddenly, Mesprit, Uxie, and Azelf were blasted back as a Shadow Mewtwo appeared through a vortex
"Careful," Uxie telepathed. "That Shadow Mewtwo is from another world. We need to send him back. But he is very powerful."
"Right," Ashley said as they got ready to fight. Suddenly Shadow Mewtwo attacked.
Shadow Mewtwo used several blasts of psychic attacks that Azelf, Uxie, and Mesprit used their powers to block due to the sheer power. Meanwhile Ashley and Umbreon used their dark typing to block what got through with their bodies. All of the pokemon then started fighting back, but Shadow Mewtwo just created a barrier that protected it, and unleashing a Shadow Wave attack that threatened to destroy them, only for Ashley to use Night Daze to intercept it. Though it struggled to do so, and only barely made it in time.
"That was close," Chloe said, "well, that barrier is made with psychic energy. Ashley, use Dark Pulse."
Ashley released the attack, Shadow Mewtwo created the barrier again, but this time the Dark Pulse easily broke through unlike the non dark type moves from before. This caused Shadow Mewtwo to stumble as the other Pokémon took advantage to blast him with their best attacks. Sending him back through the portal, as Mesprit, Uxie, and Azelf used their powers to close the portal.
"We did it!" everyone cheered once the shadow Mewtwo had vanished in a burst of shadows.
"Yes," Uxie telepathed, "now we must inform Palkia so he can stop the portal from returning, goodby."
The three of them then teleported away, and a few minutes bbn later the area briefly glowed.
"It looks like the strange energy readings are gone," Chloe noted, "they must have got Palkia's help."
"Good," Dawn said before heading to the door, "now let's get some rest. We have a contest tomorrow."

The next morning was the contest, and Dawn, Zoey, and Chloe were ready to go.
It turned out that the contest was a double round, and as such, they had woken up early to train.
Chloe was using Eevee and Ashly, Dawn was using Pachirisu and Piplup, and Zoey was using Glameow and Galade.
After training they headed to the contest hall, and ironically found that Chloe was first, then Dawn, then Zoey.
Chloe released Ashley, and Eevee, and had Ashley use Shadowball while Eevee used the light from Swift to shape the shadows of the shadowball until they made a statue of the pair of them in a position that made people wonder if they knew Baby Doll Eyes, because the statues of them certainly did.
Next was Dawn who had Piplup use bubblebeam in specific order while Pachirisu used a rapid fire thunder shock to pop them in a specific pattern, the static and mist mixing together to make the image of the two of them on an image Dawn's shoulders bowing.
The final of the trio was Zoey, who used Glameow and Galade, who used a shadow claw to carve a chunk out of the stage, and psycho blade to carve it before it hit the ground, into a statue of Gallade holding Glameow, while the real ones took the same pose.
