[Clancy's POV]

It's going to be okay. Is what I keep hearing from her as the tears roll down my face. She sits there holding my hand trying to comfort me after the incident that happened last night. I know she hates me for doing this but she sure as hell isn't acting like it. Why won't she just tell me straight to the face of how disgusting of a person I am for doing that?? "Clancy..." she calls out. I look up at her, my eyes obviously tired and tear-marked. "Yeah, Y/N?" I try to say back but my voice is very hoarse. "The doctor said you're free to go. Are you ready to go back to my place now?" She looks deep into my eyes. I never really noticed how pretty her eyes are. I nod my head. I don't really want to speak anymore. She helps me get out of the bed and slowly get on my feet. My legs are shaking so much after stabbing them multiple times. Y/N grabs ahold of my hand and slightly holds onto it tightly. We head out the room and into the halls. I look around at all the rooms. So many sick people. So many people who are hurt, fighting infections, some... I shake off the last feeling. We say goodbye to the nurses and doctors who pass by us and thank them for their help with recovering me. "The banditos are going to pay for your bill. I'm also going to help pay for some of it as well." She says to me as we walk to her house. My face doesn't really make an expression but deep down I am truly grateful for these people. I wish I wasn't so exhausted.

After some time and walking for a while, we finally reached her house. We walk and notice that all the banditos have left gifts for me. Gift baskets, balloons, cards, and flowers. All of them are for me. They all thought of me. I start to look through all the gifts, amazed by how creative some of the banditos are. Y/N walks into the kitchen and starts making us some hot chocolate and cookies. I walk backward to the couch while looking at the cards and I sit down. I read through all the little notes they left. "Clancy, I'm glad to hear you're doing well after last night's incident. I really wish I didn't already know what lead to it happening but I'm just relieved to hear that Y/N was there to take care of you. You're really lucky to have her and us. She's a sweet girl and loves helping people. I mean, after all, she is my daughter. Please let her take care of you and you also take care of her." My eyes widen as I find out that one of the banditos is Y/N's mother. I glance up at her in the kitchen. My face heats up as I take in every part of her beauty and kindness. I will take care of your daughter. Y/N comes out with the cups of hot chocolate and a plate of cookies and sets them on the coffee table in front of me. She sighs as she sits down next to me. I feel her head lean against my shoulder and she grabs my hand to hold it again. This time she rubs her thumb on the back of my hand. "All the banditos left these for you after the word got out that you were in the hospital. A lot of them are yellow flowers as you can see." I look over at her.

"You're mother... she's a bandito?" I ask, a little shocked and confused. "Yeah, she's been with them for a couple of years now after I've grown up. I'm not really a bandito myself, but I'm really close with all of them. I help them the best I can when they need me at times." She responds, her voice soft. "Why aren't you a bandito?" I ask. Her eyes move down to look at our hands intertwined together. "I don't have the time to be one really. I have my job and other hobbies I do during the day that I can't really 'save the day' with the banditos. I think my mother is handling it pretty well also but I just don't exactly see myself doing that kind of thing." I take a deep breath and grab one of the cookies off the plate and take a bite of it.
