Screech POV:

"FUCK— STOP— CPRING ME— SHIT—" I had to push Shadow off of me, my whole body aching.

I let out a shaky breath... the last thing I remember was... the amount of pain I felt. The stinging through my ribs, striking me deep in the core. The soreness of my throat, like a flame crawling up through esophagus and burying itself deep in my tonsils, most likely from all the yelling and crying I had done. The numbness and pain in my legs from the electrical shock stimulated from the exorcism, which ripped through my gut like a freight train...

And it all came rushing back to me in one spur of a moment. Ramming me in every direct, causing a rough breath to rush out, like a silent scream.

I could barely see past the blur in my vision from the pain, but I felt Eyes' hand intertwine in my broken one. I looked up at him through my sweaty bangs, trying to make out his face... I tried to fight the smile, but i couldn't... seeing his concerned face... he was like the eye in my storm of pain...

I couldn't hold myself up for much longer, but I made sure to mutter a quick, "Hi..." before letting out a sigh and retreating back to that state on the floor. I could hear the commotion around me, the yelling, the panic— Seek being held back by Figure, Halt yelling at everyone to calm down, Rush coping in the corner with his jokes, Timothy faintly asking if I was gonna die too... I tuned it out as I shut my eyes, and drifted off to sleep, again.

.

Seek POV:

"FUCK—" I wrangled myself out of Figure's grip. "DON'T LET HIM GO TO SLEEP— SHIIIITTTT—!!" I pushed Eyes out of the way and tried shaking my brother awake, only to be stopped by Shadow.

They put their hand on my shoulder. "Look, man, the dude needs rest. I don't think he's choking on his blood anymore... help me carry him to his room?"

I shakily nodded. I didn't want to let him sleep, but I knew I had to. I carefully picked him up, as to not hurt him anymore. I began walking over to his room... "Shadow, open the door...?"

They nodded and twisted the door knob open. I shakily placed him down on the bottom bunk... I didn't want to let go of him. I wanted to hold him close and protect him— I didn't want to lose another sibling...

God, if you're out there, please say he's ok... please.

I felt a hand on my shoulder, I turned around to see Figure. "Hey..." I muttered.

"Hey." They softly spoke, their voice resting above a whisper. I gave him a smile and wrapped my arms around him. They patted my back. "It'll be ok... he'll be fine."

Figure gave the best damn hugs... I really loved them. They made everything better.

"Yo," Shadow spoke up. "Hate to ruin the moment, but I need to kinda do my doctor shit..."

"Oh—" I let go of Figure and backed up. "Of course, of course..."

Shadow leaned over and quickly checked Screech for a pulse, something he had. "Anyone have a knife on them?"

"Why the fuck do you need a knife—" I questioned, being cut off by Rush.

"Here ya go," he held out his pocket knife.

I jumped a little. "YO WHERE THE FUCK DID YOU COME FROM—!?"

"I'm everywhere."

Shadow took the knife and cut Screech's hoodie off him. well, there goes a perfectly good hand-me-down. He slid it off him to reveal... holy fucking shit, my heart sank to my stomach. Oh, my poor baby brother... my— no, his whole life flashed before my eyes, and I had this strong urge to protect him.
