The sun shinning through my bedroom window in seeped into my sleeping eyes. They opened to my favorite sight. My Matthew.

"Hi, Handsome,"

"Good morning, Beautiful."

He calls me Beautiful as if it were my name.

"Did you sleep well?"

I shrugged. Burying my face in the pillow, I fought with myself to sit up in bed. "I love waking up to you, I'll tell you that."

He smiled at me as he placed a sweet kiss to my forehead. "I love you, Aud."

A smile tugged at my lips.

"Do you have any plans today?"

"Just growing babies," I chuckled. "You?"

"No," he sat on the side of my bed and unwrapped my feet from the covers to begin a massage, a recent morning ritual. "I was hoping to spend time with my beautiful girl before the busy week ahead."

"Right," I closed my eyes and leaned my head against my headboard. "Finals next week. Don't remind me."

He was silent as he continued.

"I wonder what the babies will look like," I said, breaking the silence. I placed a hand on the top of by belly as I felt movement.

"Me too, but I know they're going to be the most beautiful babies." He smiled at me. "Just like their mom."

"Their father isn't so bad himself."

He laughed and smiled at me.

"So are we going to talk about the elephant in the room?" He suggested, changing the subject.

"I'm pregnant, you jerk. Odd way to call me fat."

"No, Audr-"

"That feels so good, don't stop," I interrupted him, and moaned as he pressed deeper into my foot.

"Woah, what's going on in here?" Brandy called out as she entered my room.

"Foot massage," Matt informed her, without stopping said massage.

"Some foot massage," she chuckled, grabbing dirty laundry from my closet.

"My man is amazing," I said as I watched her swift around my room.

"You two crack me up." She giggled. "I'm making chili tonight before the game if any friends want to come over. Just let me know."

And with that she left my room.

"When are you moving to the guest house?"

I looked around my bare room. All that was left was my dresser, my bed and a few things in the closet. My bathroom is basically empty. We had been slowly moving things into the guest house to get baby ready the last few weeks.

"Probably soon," I shrugged. "My room is basically bare."

All this small talk. I know what he wants to talk about.

"I can't wait to see it all set up." He informed me. "The nursery will be a tight space with your queen size bed in there, but we can make it work."

I nodded in agreement.

"So, Aud?" He questioned. "Are we going to talk about your dad?"

"What about Tom?"

"You know what I'm talking about." He deadpanned. "He's still in town."

I signed and shook my head. "What's there to talk about?"

"He came to town and you're just ignoring him?" He rebuttals.
