"Here you go," Matt said softly as he shuffled into my room.
He held out a carmel iced coffee from Starbucks and my cheer uniform.
"Thanks," I said, accepting them and rushing to put my uniform on. "How much was the bill?"
I had to get my cheer uniform tailored and while it was there, I just had them dry clean it.
"$47,"
"Okay," I nodded. "I'll pay you back later."
"Nah," he shook his head. "It's no big deal."
I shrugged, slipping into the mini skirt. It fit well, a bit snug but comfortable. The shell was a bit tight in the bust, but okay.
Once I was fully geared, I turned to the side and looked at myself in the mirror.
My exposed stomach wasn't as muscularly toned as before, but it was still decent. I was satisfied with how I looked in my uniform, being pregnant.
"Who's all coming tomorrow?"
"Um," I thought about it for a second. "SMAK, Claire and whoever you invite. And probably Addilyn."
"Okay, I only invited Chase and Nate."
"Claire is going with Nate, so he'll be here regardless." I informed him. "Who's going with Chase? He and Kimmy broke up."
"Addilyn, I think." He informed me, "They're our competition for homecoming prince and princess."
"Oh yeah, do you know the stats on that?"
"We're in second place as of right now." He said quietly.
"Who's in first?" I asked, fixing my big bow that sat on top of my long, freshly curled ponytail.
"Addilyn and Chase." He answered.
"They'll win, I'm sure."
I honesty don't care. Any other time, I might. But it really doesn't matter because I have bigger, better things to worry about.
"You ready to go?" Matt asked, picking up my cheer duffle and slinging it over his shoulder.
"Yeah, let's go." I agreed walking out of my room.
We walked downstairs and into the kitchen where Brandy was, as usual.
"Hey boys," I smiled at the twins, grabbing a banana from the fruit bowl.
"Good morning, Audrey." Kyler said with a mouth full of fruit loops.
"Ky, don't eat with your mouth full please." Brandy chastised, looking up from her papers in front of her.
"How many people are coming tomorrow?""I don't know, six maybe?" I shrugged, pealing back the peel of my banana.
"Only six people?" She raised her eyebrows. "You had like ten last year."
"No, six couples." I corrected, taking a bite of my banana.
"Is SMAK gonna be there?"
I nodded, "And a few other friends."
She nodded, writing stuff down.
"We're all coming over after school tonight to hang out before the game, then we're going to Buffalo Wild Wings after the game."
"Don't stay out too late." She said, organizing the papers in front of her. "What time is everyone coming over tomorrow?"
"SMAK and Claire will be here around 1:00 to get ready and the guys will get here around 4:30-5:00ish to hang out before we leave."
