-Also, you may have noticed this already, but this barely has any paragraphs, and yes, I'll do them, but later. Thanks for reading and enjoy!-

A moon had passed since KiwiPaw had caught the rabbits and the thrush, and her clanmates were acknowledging her a lot more, dipping their head politely, and welcoming her if she wanted to talk, as if she were an equal. Every time she went out on a patrol, she would come back with lots of prey. Her mentor, GlidingIce, was always happy with her progress and excited when they went hunting, but KiwiPaw was not. Sometimes after battle training, she would be covered in blood, and the clan would always look at her in fear. I guess FleetingRabbit is training her hard, but usually, Pollen was okay, and it was her mentor who had the cuts. She let a little shiver pass through her. The leader was getting more and more frustrated. And just to add to that list of worries PollenPaw came back from hunting patrols with small amounts of prey. There was not a time in the day that her sister wouldn't be either, annoyed, or depressed. She knew her sister tried, but it made her sad. Their parents didn't pay much attention to their disappointing daughter. "It's not fair," she mewed to herself as she strolled back in the direction of the WindClan camp. The long yellow grass swished sympathetically, and the wind wiped her fur lightly. The border patrol she had just been on, had given her time to reflect on what she could do for her sister to make her feel better, but nothing had come, she had no idea what to do...

"Are you okay, KiwiPaw?" WaspPaw's anxious mew sounded behind her, and she jumped a little, started by the tom's sudden appearance. He was the littermate of one of her friends SheepPaw, and he also had another sibling called RyePaw. Her heart fluttered. The thing was, she kind of had a crush on WaspPaw, and she knew he liked her, but not if he loved her.

"I – um," she stumbled, looking for words, she slowed her pace a bit a moved in beside WaspPaw.

"Is it something to do with your sister, PollenPaw?" he guessed. Her heartbeat even harder, he knew her so well! She watched his almost black eyes stare at her, and she stared at them back dreamily. Every cat knew she had a crush on him. When she saw his yellow with black striped pelt, her heart burst. Oh no, what if he doesn't like cats who show their feeling a lot?

"KiwiPaw?" he asked carefully. Even his voice is dreamy!

She suddenly realized that they had been talking. "Yes?" she asked questioningly.

"Is it something to do with PollenPaw?" he mewed again, watching her affectionately.

Well, I have to trust someone, she thought to herself. "Yes, it is..." she mewed sadly, glancing up at his handsome black eyes to see what he was thinking but they gave nothing away.

"I get it," he mewed after a few seconds of thinking. "It must be really hard seeing your sister so sad all the time." Her eyes glazed, her feelings for her sister were so strong. She didn't want to see her sister like this at all. The words 'really hard' he had used only just begun to describe what pressure she underwent. An idea flashed into the tom's eyes because he suddenly stopped and looked straight at her. "What if she became a medicine cat!" his gaze lit up. "We could ask OmenStar what she thinks," he mewed happily. "And if it worked out you wouldn't have to worry about her so much and then we can focus on our future." He rested his tail on her spine. "Is that what you want?"

She thought for a moment, then nodded. Maybe this would all turn out fine! She looked gratefully at WaspPaw, rubbing her head against his jaw. This could just work...

They arrived back at camp: OmenStar was laying on the sun-baked bolder, the medicine cat, GooseWings, was leaving out some soaked herds to dry, BlazingFire, the deputy that had been burnt on his face in a bushfire was happily chewing some prey with the black tom, LappingNight, and the golden she-cat, MockingValley, KiwiPaw and PollenPaw's parents – EbonySwirl and MushroomSpot were getting ready for a patrol. She walked over to her sister, WaspPaw at her side. He moved back a bit to let them have some space to talk and started to groom himself, picking his ears to hear what PollenPaw would say.

"What," PollenPaw grumbled, looking slightly interested that WaspPaw had been walking with KiwiPaw. "Does he like you back?" she whispered in her sister's ear as she settled down.

KiwiPaw batted her sister playfully. "Shoosh," she smiled warmly. Then her gaze became serious. "PollenPaw," she started slowly, "I think that you should try being a medicine cat-" She was interrupted as her sister let out a low growl, and her sister's playful poster stiffened. "Don't be angry," she watched her sister's face turn to a scowl of hatred. Something was happening, and it wasn't good.

"You said I was getting better though," she murmured her voice trembling, obviously trying to keep her emotions under control. KiwiPaw glanced away guiltily.

"PollenPaw," she met her sister's eyes, "I didn't really, you know that." Although guilt was clawing at her, she continued, "I think being a medicine cat might be the best thing for you, your sense of smell is good, and I know GooseWings is looking for an apprentice-"

PollenPaw's ears flattened, and she stood up, ignoring KiwiPaw's reasoning. "I thought you actually believed in me!" her clanmates started moving closer, their ears pricked as they watched PollenPaw raise to her full height, her gaze dripped with sorrow and menace. KiwiPaw suddenly got a sinking feeling, she didn't know her sister would react like this. But she understood her feelings – she was the only family her sister really had and everyone else clearly didn't even try to hide their hatred for her sister. She stood up and moved closer, wanting to try and help PollenPaw control her feelings. Her sister's face hardened, and she unsheathed her claws. Oh no! Then she felt razors pierce her face and she let out a loud yelp of surprise and hurt. The crowd gasped; this was getting out of hand. She flinched away shocked. "Don't come near me, KiwiPaw!" PollenPaw's rage cut through KiwiPaw far deeper than her sister's claws, she had not known how much anger and fear had truly built up inside her sister. And now it was all coming out...

PollenPaw suddenly wiped around to glare at her mentor FleetingRabbit, who returned it. "This is wrong, but you can still go back now," he mewed, trying to calm his outraged apprentice. Her eyes were cold as she stepped toward the tom – her sister was mad! This can't be happening, no, no, no! Her eyes started to cloud, darkness seeping in, and her breath was coming fast, too fast. Then suddenly, it all went black...
