They had put the subject of J'Efra off till after C'Sharl's family had visited since they could all sense that it was going to be one of those discussions that was going to affect the entire family and was going to raise emotions and reactions that were going to take several days to deal with and settle down no matter what decision the three of them made. Pam had briefly talked to Nang and decided that she was going to keep her nose out of it since it didn't directly impact on her. Even though she had a relationship with Dan at the moment she was living with C'Sharl. They were considering taking out a bonding contract for three years and go from there.

For the initial discussion they waited for the children to go to bed and Pam and C'Sharl to go to their end of the house so they could have the privacy for their conversation. They ended up in the living area and the two women were curled up as comfortable as possible and Dan was laying on his back with his head in Nang's lap with his eyes closed and a slight smile as he listened to the heartbeat of their baby who was sleeping on his chest. They sat there in silence for a few moments before Nang finally spoke.

"Well we do need to discuss this issue and I guess since I am supposed to be the matriarch of the family I will go first." She shifted slightly before speaking again. "I have to say that I am not too sure of this personally. It isn't that I am worried about losing Dan to a younger woman", she gave a wry grin when she said that, "so much as the fact of her age and how she might work into the dynamics of our house for as long as she would be with Dan." She sort of plucked at her lip. "Speaking of which would she be staying here or would he go there or would it be a sort of visitation sort of thing?"

Dan simply let her talk and he could feel for the moment that she was talking to Satasha as much as him but predominantly to Satasha since she was both Sholan, had gone through the same thing, and was her older sister. Eventually she would ask his opinion but right now it was women talk.

Satasha had to smile at Nang admitting she was in charge of the house and listened to what she was saying and couldn't help but smiling when she muttered about losing Dan to a younger woman. "That you don't need to worry about. Very rarely will a relationship last much past the first season. Sometimes it might last a bit longer or occasionally simply stop by and say hello and have a bit of fun but she is still young and it will be a number of years before she would actually be ready to settle down into a long term relationship."

Reacting to some thoughts Dan stood up and went and got both of them something to drink and poured a good strong cup of coffee for himself and had to smile slightly since now that they had linked if the coffee was strong enough acted on him like alcohol. He handed them the ladies and after a sip of his settled back down with his head in Nang's lap and got comfortable and she started stroking his hair as she was talking to Satasha.

"Now as far as to when or how often is a different question. She would mostly be staying at mom's house though she might occasionally want to visit him here simply because this is where he lives and that is normal. It was the way I did it when I went into my first season but it really depends on what is decided. In this case I have a feeling if Dan so decided it would be more comfortable for everyone involved if he went to her house for the first few visits." Satasha shifted a bit and grimaced as their child kicked her and she grunted.

"This is definitely your child Dan, he has a kick from heck." Nang laughed when she said that and the two women shared a grin. "As far as all of us who would be affected she would see all of us as senior to her and wouldn't do anything deliberately to impact on anyone here or any relationships though simply by her being involved would impact on it and that will happen when ever one of us take another lover."

Nang was nibbling on a fingernail as she was listening to what Satasha was saying and she could understand the part with down the road and it was true. What bothered her more was the age difference between the two of them even though intellectually she understood that Sholan's matured differently than humans. She looked down at Dan and he looked very content laying there with his eyes shut as she stroked his hair. "Don't you dare go to sleep on me Dan, this is you we are discussing."
