Andie's mom paced back and forth in front of the couch as Andie. "anything to say?" she looked at the two of them. they both shook their heads.

"I can't believe you've been having boys over while we're gone. do you want history to repeat itself?" andie's father looked at her completely ashamed just as he was years ago.

"dad." she warned him because that was a rough spot in her life.

"years ago?" Michael said confused looking over at Andie as she avoids his gaze.

"you don't know?" her mother looks at Michael. "Andie, I can't believe I raised a daughter who is so trashy. one who makes out with strange boys on our island!" she's flaring her hands in the air.

"what don't I know?" Michael looks back at Andie. within seconds there's tears dripping from her eyes.

"I can't do this." Andie ran straight out of the house. Michael looked at the door seconds after he sees her leave. the parents stare at him and he awkwardly walks away outside, where Andie was.

she sits on his car wiping her tears. "what don't I know, Andie?" she doesn't move or respond. "you're still gonna have to get off my car if you want me to leave."

"I don't."

"what do you want?" he slightly raises his voice.

"in school I hung out with the wrong people. very bad things occurred."

"what happened?"

"lots of boys." she begins. "bad guys. and drugs and a lot more. one night there was a party at my house and I'm not sure what happened to this day but there was something in my drink, after that I cut off all the people I thought were my friends and became the clean lonely person I am today."

there was a deep silence in the air and you could feel the tension building. Michael coughs, "I'm going to need you to get off my car. I have the late shift tonight."

"what?" Andie says. no reply. "Michael, what the fuck?"

"what?" he gives her a glare.

"you cannot let me open up to you an then tell me you have work after. that's what assholes do." she's yelling by now.

"maybe I'm a fucking asshole. I don't know what you want from me. I have work unlike you."

"excuse me?" she searches for eye contact with Michael. "what does that mean?"

"just drop it. I need to leave."

"really I didn't notice." she said with her voice filled with sarcasm.

"get off my fucking car." he spits spacing every word out.

"fine. fuck you Michael." and that was the last word before Michael flew off.
