"Bye, sweetie," the insincere mom kissed her daughter on the cheek. "there's a weeks worth of money for pizza in the drawer plus, some in case you want to get rid of those ratty clothes and buy some new ones." she smiles and Andie looks down at her black stretchy shorts and worn out tank top. "please take a shower." her mom and silent dad leave the house.
She stands there confused by her mom's rude words and her dad's persistence to defend her- which was zero at the moment.
Her mind soon drifted into when she was five, then thirteen, then sixteen. all very significant ages for her. Soon it came to her sobbing, she wiped up her tears thinking of her dad's "winners don't cry" speech. He might've been right, but Andie was not close to a winner.
She went into the large kitchen and looked on the island to see the regular pizza number for Johnny's pizzeria.
This number is out of order. She soon realizes that it must've closed and that she would find a new pizza place tomorrow. Andie walks up stairs to her queen sized bed and falls asleep while still crying.
Sorry this chapter is so boring it'll get more interesting I promise. So Andie is sad boring and likes pizza a lot
