"Hey, Zhou! I'm really sorry about this. I only wanted to let them inside for a quick look around, but who knew Zhang Yunyang would be so stubborn? Now, he's even ignoring my calls! I have no idea what he's putting those kids through in the military camp... Don't worry, though, I'll fly over in a helicopter and straighten him out."

"You did mention that I asked for him to keep an eye on things, right?"

"Of course! I even dropped your name, but he said no one gets special treatment. He didn't even want to take on the responsibility in the first place! I had to practically force it on him. Honestly, everyone else would have jumped at the chance after hearing your name, but not him. He's got such a temper..."

"Hmm... I heard he's quite a leader. What do you think?"

"Oh, definitely. The First Special Division was already strong, but since he took over, it's been off the charts. You know, ever since he's been in charge, we haven't had much of a shot in the national competitions..."

"Well, you don't need to go now. I handed my grandson over to you because I knew you'd train him well. But with Zhang Yunyang, I'm confident. Actually, how about this? Get Zhang to record my grandson's training. I want to see how he trains soldiers!"

"Zhou, are you out of your mind? Your grandson's this pampered kid. He's 17 but looks like he's 13 or 14. Can you really let Zhang Yunyang put him through hell?"

"That's exactly why he needs to toughen up! I'll see if Zhang has what it takes to train soldiers for real."

"You're using your grandson as bait, aren't you? You've set your eyes on my Zhang to train him, haven't you?"

"I never thought of it that way... But now that you mention it, maybe I should consider it."

"God, please don't steal my people!"

A scream erupted from the phone, but the old man in uniform stood tall by the floor-to-ceiling window, looking north. He slammed the phone down and muttered, "My child... I'll make sure he's raised strong. No one will ever bully him. He'll become a man worthy of respect... You can rest in peace."

Sitting near the air conditioning vent, Jason shivered, and of course, that annoying guy noticed. A smirk crept onto his face.

Meanwhile, the negotiators from both sides were sitting in a meeting room with all the windows tightly covered, leaving no trace of sunlight. The room was lit by a spotlight and several fluorescent lights, giving it a bright but tense atmosphere.

The teachers and student representatives were all sitting there, visibly shaken, after witnessing what had just happened. Each of them had a soldier armed with a submachine gun standing behind them, as if they could be dragged out and shot at any moment.

At the head of the table, the division commander sat with his legs kicked up on the meeting table, smoking a cigar. Two trembling orderlies stood behind him, ready to serve. If he traded his uniform for a suit and sunglasses, he could've passed for a mob boss straight out of a movie.

Seeing the terrified faces of the students, Zhang Yunyang couldn't help but chuckle. This was a trick an old mentor had taught him for dealing with students.

Students are a unique group—full of youthful arrogance and idealism, often with little regard for reality. But they're also the easiest to manipulate. Time and again, they become pawns for someone else's ambition, bleeding and sacrificing, only for someone else to reap the benefits.

The best way to handle students? Lead them. Like the ancient tale of Yu the Great controlling the flood, rather than blocking it, he guided the waters. Similarly, guiding students is often the most effective way to control them.
