8 hours until Judgement.
Kel writhed on his sleeping bag in agony. His arms and legs moved around in an uncomfortable sort of dance. A massive gash from shoulder to shoulder was across his chest and bleeding profusely.
You were panicking. "I can fix this, Kel. Please, I just need time to think. Just let me think, Aubrey.
Aubrey stood there at your side, "Why do you keep saying that? Do something already."
"I AM! Just give me some fucking time!" You shouted angrily.
Aubrey shook her head. "You aren't doing shit. At least get something to clean the wound with. Maybe that isopropyl alcohol from the emergency cabinet?"
"I... We used it... for your cocktail," you sheepishly admitted.
"What!?" Aubrey screamed in shock and rage.
"I'm... sorr-ry..." Kel wheezed out as he looked up at you.
"That was your fault, Aubrey, we had to get into utility!" You angrily shouted.
Aubrey wasn't having it. "You god damn idiot! Get something to help him, or you can go out like Hero for all I care!"
"Fine," you said, walking away and into the medbay. You ignored the scene that lay before you and turned right, surprised to find Aubrey.
She seemed to already be looking around for some disinfectant. You watched her for a few seconds before moving to leave the room.
You walked away from Aubrey and down the stairs, passing Aubrey on the way to the cargo hold. She was still passed out on the floor. You then entered the cargo hold.
You then entered the cargo hold.
You then entered the cargo hold.
You then enteredRows of boxes seemed to go on for miles and miles. You heard a cat's enraged groaning growl in the distance, as if a giant cat were somewhere within.
You began to traverse the grated bridges over the infinite boxes and heard the throaty mewl grow louder.
Suddenly you felt the need to stand completely still. A massive cat's head came down, meowing loudly in fury.
The head had no eyes and a deformed nose. Its ears looked strangely large. You winced at its appearance as it returned to the ceiling. The cat's low groan returned as you began to move again.
You stopped again once things reached a fever pitch, and the cat came down once more. Its ear twitched for a moment, and it stayed a little longer than before.
After the cat head returned to the ceiling, you decided you should pick up the pace a little, as you began to sprint towards a voice, seeming to call out to you. Now, it was in your sight. A bottle of mouthwash, held up by the famous statue of Mewo. One that had been broken in the break room by Aubrey in a drunken stupor.
You leapt for the mouthwash as the cat head came down for you, hearing your jump and coming for you at a rapid pace. Your hand barely touched the mouthwash, and...
Looking down at Kel, he was in a miserable state. Still writhing, still groaning, still in agony. "I'm so sorry... ghh... I messed up... ugh..."
"Don't talk. You'll only hurt yourself." You poured the mouthwash onto his wound, and he hissed before outright yelping in pain.
4 months after the crash.
"So... what do we do?" Kel asked. Apparently, you were going to be the idea man in this dynamic.
"Well, we could keep slamming our head into a brick wall trying to convince Hero to come out..." You began, trying to make this option out to be as unappealing as possible.
