PROVE YOUR WORTH
You walked down the ship's halls, looking around anxiously. It felt like something was watching you. There was something watching you.
Scanning the area, nothing seemed out of place. You kept walking. The eyes kept watching you. They were bloodshot, dead set on staring at you.
Pipes criss-crossed around the hallway all around you. You took a left turn.
You took a left turn. You remembered when Aubrey introduced you to the crew. You took a left turn.
You remembered how you felt when you met Sunny. You took a left turn. You found a straight section of the hallway. One with no left turns. You took a left turn. The eyes came through the walls to stare at you. You took a left turn. You took a left turn. The eyes populated the wall. You took a lef
PROVE YOUR WORTH
You puked all over the floor. A piece of Sunny's leg landed on the grating. Some day, he'd thank you.
You looked around. Nobody was watching you. You looked up. There was a starry night sky above.
There was a boy in the sky. It was you. You walked through the sky towards a bright light. You felt lighter than air, yet your mind was heavy with guilt.
You approached the light. It was Sunny. Bright as the day you met him. "I want to go home," he said sadly.
"We are home," you disagreed.
"Why don't you just finish what you started? Don't worry. If anyone ever finds us, I'll still be playing the villain," Sunny said selflessly, "I could've stopped it. Now, I'm taking responsibility."
"I don't want you to be the villain. I want you to be with me forever. I want to fix the damage I caused you. I never wanted to make you crash the ship. I'm sorry," you apologetically said. You began to cry and fell to your knees as you spoke.
You moved closer to where Sunny was seated. "I'm so fucking sorry, Sunny. I made a huge mistake..."
Sunny looked down at you with forgiveness. You felt a bundle of something in your pocket. You looked down and saw a twine-bound bundle of fi

All-day, Fire Fresh!™
You began to walk down a hallway filled to the brim with ID cards and empty mouthwash bottles. You walked up the stairs with empty bottles clattering down them, some bumping into your legs as you climbed up.
The cargo hold. You had reached your destination. The lights flashed on, revealing a massive pile of empty bottles, and atop it all... that statue of Mewo.
Mewo spoke up. "Hello, boss! How's the wife?"
You growled at the cat, "Shut up! He's fine!"
"Is he fine!? I thought you had him cut up like a pig! Love can be so cruel..." Mewo mocked.
"Just shut up! I don't need you! You abandoned us all! Left us to die!" Basil shouted in a rage.
"Poor sweet Basil, all he ever wanted was to be loved. That's what you're thinking, right?" Mewo sneered in return, "Mewo says: Sorry! That's not gonna happen! You need to have a reason to be loved, first!"
"Shut up! Just shut up! I hate you! I hate you so much! Leave me alone!" Basil shouted, holding his head as a pounding headache came on.
0 hours before Judgement
A vast silence overtook the room as you picked Sunny up off of the table. You began to walk your way down the stairs with him.
He looked up at you with love in his eyes. He was so peaceful. You had to take Sunny home.
You brought Sunny into utility and sat him down in the only working cryopod. It was what he deserved. He deserved to be saved. Unlike you.
"I'm sorry, Sunny," you said, closing the pod door, "I fucked up. I really did. But you never gave up on me. You always had my back. That's why I love you. That's why I'll always love you. I guess today is one of those days where we eat some shitty cake, huh?"
You laughed at your own joke. Sunny would laugh, too, if he could right now. "Together we can fix anything, huh, Sunny? Like the old days. Before you got to be captain, and before I became your co-pilot. I'm so proud I got to be your friend and co-pilot Sunny. And someday, we'll get to be together, and we'll talk all about this. Laugh and laugh. Nobody can hurt you now, Captain."
Sunny looked down at you with a joy in his eyes. Eye, moreover, since he now only had one. You smiled back at him. "We fixed it..." You mutter as you turn on the cryopod.
After one last look at your love, you take the gun from your pocket again. You looked down at the ground and walked away from the cryopod. You didn't want Sunny to see this. Slowly, you lifted the gun to your temple. You swallowed nervously. You had already made up your mind that you were going to do this, but it was still nervewracking.
Your face contorted into a twisted grin. It felt like this was finally going to make up for all your mistakes, all your sleights against Sunny. He was an angel, and you kept him safe.
Salvation was on its way. You pulled the trigger, and your brains splattered onto the floor with a deafening gunshot.
