is finished doing my make up and brushing my hair when i got a text from Rodrick saying he was here he was going to give me a ride since it was a pizza place with a roller rink.
i got in the car "so who's your friend" he asked "some guy named Fred" i told him "oh okay" he said i could hear the jealousy in his voice we started driving "wanan hear my new song" he asked "sure" i said turning to look at him he handed me his phone to connect it to the car the song started playing.
i could hear ben singing it wasn't his normal loud singing it was soft still rock but he sang "her eyes shined as bright as could be" and i could here the base in the back and Rodrick hitting the drum in a 7 rhythm "i wondered if she really loved me like i did" ben sang "she had pretty y/h/l (your hair length)" i started to look confused this song wasn't like anything they wrote "her eyes could make me fall in love a million times over" i looked at Rodrick "you guys haven't wrote anything like this before" i said "just wait" he said he sounded soft his voice soothing almost "the girl down the street her names y/n" i sprung up from leaving my head back "what" i said i looked at Rodrick "is this about me" i said he rubbed the back of his head trying to focus on the road "i mean your names y/n right" he said trying to be smart "yes but why" i said i let out a laugh "cause maybe i like you" he said "i like you to Rodrick" i said tilting my head to the side he pushed on the brake making me spring forward "no y/n i like you like k really like you like how Heather likes clothes how Molly loves gossip how you love your brother i love you like the moon loves the sun how the earth loves water y/n im crazy about you" he said his eyes pierced my skin staring at me i looked at him and opened the door to the van closing it.
