first day of school

Y/N POV

I woke up to the sound of
Karmen making breakfast she was taking this first day of school thing way and i mean way to serious i got up and headed to the shower it was
still dark outside it only being 6 am i washed my hair and i
brushed it out with some conditioner.

i started getting dressed and putting on some light make up listening
to music while i got ready it toke a while to find an outfit first day
at a new school junior year i sighed this was gonna be a long year.

you had on this minus the hat with rodrick's zip up jacket

i walked downstairs to Karmen putting pancakes on my plate and some eggs "here" she said handing me
the plate with a hug smile "thank you" i said starting to eat the plate of pancakes i heard a knock
at the door "i'll get it" i said remembering Rodrick was taking me to school "hey sunshine" he said leaning in the door "hey come in" i said taking a drink of my orange juice
"we've got 20 minutes till school
starts so" he said "here" karmen said handing him a plate he started digging in replying with a "thank you"
while his face was stuffed with a pancake "you're welcome baby" karmen said rubbing his back.

we got to school and i jumped out of the car "first day" Rodrick said "shut up" i said of course i was nervous
but he was making it worse i smacked his shoulder getting
a ow and a laugh
"what's your first class" he asked "english" i said with a sigh "i've got calculus" he said with a sigh "see you at lunch" i asked "see you then"
he said pushing me.

we both went our opposite ways as i head to the 2nd floor of the building "room 206"
i said to my self looking down at my phone i ran into some one
feeling a hard body i hit the ground "ouch jack ass watch were your walking" i said getting up
brushing off my busted knee i saw the brush already coming in "my bad" the guy said he was blonde he was about 5'9 i pushed past him walking
to my class *what a jerk my bad there's this word called sorry*.

i sat waiting for the bell to ring for my backpack immediately going to find Rodrick
"hey y/h/c (your hair color)" some guy said i turned around he started walking towards me the same guy
from this morning "sorry about your knee" he said "ehh" i said shrugging *i was trying to find Rodrick not the
beach boys* "umm... i was wondering could i get your number"
he asked i sighed telling him my number.

i ended up find Rodrick and getting in his van "first day of school" he said "ughhh take me home" i groaned tilting my head up "oh do you
wanna come see my band
rehearse he asked
putting his hand on the back of the seat to back up i gave him a kiss
on the check "sure" i said his face flushed red "don't do that" he said kissing
me "what ever" i said rolling my eyes.

we got to his house going inside "hi Ms.Heffley" i said waving "hi y/n and please call me Susan you've
known me for months now" she said smiling
"okay Susan" i said flashing a smile back we walked into the garage like are and i say on the amp machine as Rodrick adjusted it
"when's the band gonna be here" i asked "oh did i say the band" he said "i meant just me and you" he leaned on the machine in between my
legs giving me a kiss i kissed back giggling "play me something" i said crossing my legs
"what ever you ask" he said he started hitting the drum making a beat i walked over.

"can you teach me" i asked hesitatingly "sure come here"
he said i walked around the drums sitting in his lap
"ok so hold the sticks like this" he said "put your foot here and just come up with a beat"
he sounded nerves "can you help me" i asked he placed his
hands on mine slowly hitting the drums to make a beat "now repeat it" he said i started to repeat
the beat he
played it didn't sound
as good but i tried "that wasn't to bad" he said rubbing the back of his neck i
scoffed "im not that bad" i said hitting his chest.

the moment got interrupted by Susan asking if i was staying for dinner "what time is it" i asked Rodrick
reached for his phone "6:20" he said "i better go home" i said
"okay sweetie Rodrick take her home" his mom said he grabbed his keys walking out the front door
me shortly behind we got in the car taking the not so long drive to my house.

the car stoped and i saw my house i unbuckled my seat belt about
to step out as Rodrick came around and opened the door i just rolled
my eyes binding my smile he walked me to the front door i looked up at him as he looked down at me
"goodnight y/n" he said "goodnight" i said he reached for my face pulling me into a kiss "night" he said
running off to his car i stood there with my mouth open in shock Rodrick just kissed me goodnight.
