Annabeth's POV
I was in my office drawing blue prints while waiting for Abby to get home. I heard the front door open and I was about to go see her when I heard stomping on the stairs and a door slam. I ran upstairs thinking it was a monster. I carefully opened Abby's bedroom door. No monster. But when I looked down I saw Abby on the ground next to her back pack. She looked up at me and I could tell she had been crying. She had tear stains and dirt smudges on her face. "Abby what happened?" I asked sympathetically. "Mr. Brunner handed back our Spelling test, Math test, And Greek mythology pop quiz and I got an A+ on all of them," she said. Mr. Brunner being their teacher concerned be but that wasn't the problem right now. "Abby that's great" I said
"No its not! " she cried." The kids made fun of me know the playground and called me a know it all, " she sobbed. " And they made fun of my eyes," she continued. "And then they threw me into the dirt at the bus stop after school," she finished but continued crying. That was it. Nobody made fun of my daughter. If they knew who her royal grandparents were they wouldn't dare mess with her. I got my phone out and dialed the school number. "I'm going to call the school Abby, they'll fix your problem," I said calmly. "OK," she sniffled. Then I walked out of her room. The phone stopped ringing and somebody finally answered. "Hello? Office speaking," the voice said. "Hi, this is Annabeth Chase, I'm calling about my six year old daughter," I said. "She came home crying and said that kids made fun of her grades, and her eyes, and that she was shoved into the dirt at the bus stop after school today," I td the lady. "What's her teachers name?" the lady asked. "Chi-" I stopped myself. "Mr. Brunner," I said. "He should still be there if you want to come down and talk to him," she said. "That would be great," I said and hung up the fun. Suddenly I remembered that he chiron would recognize me the second he saw me. I ran to my bathroom and grabbed a box of contacts. They changed my eyes from gray to brown. I bought them back when Abby told me Mr. Brunner was her teacher just in case an event like this came up where I would have to talk to him in person. Then I put on something the Annabeth Chase he knew would never wear. I put on some dark blue skinny jeans, A blue, silk blouse, and black flats and quickly straightened my hair. I was ready in 5 minutes. I went next door and asked my neighbor's teenage daughter to watch Abby for a little while and then I drove to the school.
