We left the airport and now are in a taxi to the hotel. Then it hit me. I can't take her to camp. Percy is obviously going to be there. I could leave her at the hotel during the day but someone is going to have to watch her at night.
We pulled the luggage out of the cat and I'm signing her up for the hotel teens club. Before I left the hotel room I remembered Olympus is right down the street and camp is only 30 minutes away.
This area is probably crawling with monsters. I took something out of my bag that I had snuck from camp just in case I ever needed it. I took out one of the last things that was ever given to me by one of my friends.
"Abby come here please, "I said. " Ok," she responded. When she walked over to me I took a deep breath. This would be a test to see if she could see through the mist and if she had any godly blood.
"Abby dear, can you see this?" I asked. "Mom! Why do you have a knife in here?!" she cried. "Abby dear, this is a dagger. I want you to take this with you to the teens club, and if you see something that does not look like it should exist stab it with this, and take this I phone if you have to use that dagger call me. Someone will pick you up at 8 and stay with you tonight, " I find finished. "Okay?" she said questioningly.and headed out the door to the teens club. Then I made and iris message.
"Who is this? " the lady asked when the message went through. "Aphrodite, This is Annabeth, would you please pick my daughter up at eight and watch her tonight," I said. "Why me?" she asked. "Because she loves makeovers," I said with a smirk. "Yippee! I'll do it!" she squealed. "Thanks," I said and swiped my hand through the message.
The I went downstairs and hailed a taxi. I arrived at camp and went straight to cabin six hoping not to draw any attention to myself. My bunk hadn't been used probably cause they thought I would come back. I opened by trunk at the end of my bed and pulled out a sweatshirt. I put the hood over my head and walked out.
I went down to the beach and just sat there thinking about all the good memories. I heard the conch horn blow and I headed to dinner. There was a table set up for the veterans.
After dinner we all sat in a circle at the beach playing truth or dare. Conner went first. "Percy, truth or dare?" Conner asked. "Truth," he said. Conner had a big grin plastered in his face. "Have you had a new girlfriend since Annabeth left?" he asked. My ears perked up at this. "No," he answered.
"Leo, truth or dare?" "DARE Baby!" he screamed. I smiled. I was really hoping nobody would pick me. People still didn't know who I was. "Leo, I dare you to put on a dress from the Aphrodite cabin, light yourself on fire, and sing girl on fire on top of the big house roof," "Fine," he grumbled.
He went and did it. The whole camp was laughing. And Mr.D got kick out of it. When we were all back on the beach it was Leo's turn. "Hey sweat shirt lady, truth or dare?" I gulped. I figured if I chose truth they would ask me who I was. "Dare," I said quietly.
"I dare you to take off the hood." Styx. I didn't think of that. I raised my hand to my face and slowly removed the hood. "ANNABETH!" they all cried. My phone rang and I walked off the answer it. "Hello?" "Hi mom, I just wanted to let you know I was picked up," "Ok honey night," "Annabeth!" I turned. It was Percy. I sprinted out of camp and hid in a bush. Suddenly, next to me was Athena and Abby. "Introduce her to your friends," was all she said then she disappeared. I took Abby over to the beach.
