It was a peaceful day- almost too peaceful. She didn't feel comfortable sleeping, but doing commissions was obviously a must. As she stood up on the tree, her ears twitched in annoyance- some people on her tribe's property. She scoffed, shaking her head as she called Citlali. As Citlali picked up her phone, a customer came- so, Xilonen was left with a voicemail. "Hey. Whoever you are, stranger or not, call me later. I'm BUSY here" The automated robot said, as Xilonen clenched her fist- wishing that her friend wouldn't be so stubborn.

As Xilonen breathed, she realized that it was eerily quiet around her. It was- unusual. No sounds of the tropical birds on her clan's side of the forest, no Kachina running to her arms screaming "I love you!" before heading to school- no, nothing. As she lowered her guard a bit, an Abyss Herald jumped at her, knocking her off her own feet. A huff of annoyance escaped her lips, as she gritted her teeth in frustration. "I thought you were done messing with me" she hissed, as he just chuckled. Suddenly, he feels a sharp pain emerging from his waist, as the Abyss Herald clutches it with his hands. Xilonen quickly got back on her feet, and lunged at him, summoning her sword, all in a split seconds notice.

He falls to his knees, as she walks menacingly, slower than usual. For some reason, sweat was starting to form, as he started trembling- so hard the Xilonen could see it clearer than a crystal, pulled out of all its Phlogiston. Finally, in a second- swish.

The battle started. Their fury was masked by both of their swords, clashing on impact with each other. A series of elemental reactions some might say. As Xilonen used her roller-blades to inflict Geo on the Abyss Herald, it started raining, giving her a shield. She smirked: this was her chance. She took full advantage of her shield, as he slashed it with his weapon, not even scathing it.

Kinich POV:

I heard a loud scream, as a small gasp escaped my lips. I was just doing commissions- and it was 6 am in the morning.

I keep fighting the hilichurls, trying to ignore it; but the screams continue, and I eventually give in. "sigh, can't a man just get some primogems?". I say, obviously pissed that I'd have to get them later. As I swing on the branches, I can feel the twigs nearly snapping from the impact. After a couple of seconds, I finally see the sight. A dead Abyss Herald with Xilonen, my roommate, next to him gripping her signature sword.

???'s POV:

Kinich smirked, as Xilonen was out of breath "Oh, cat got your tongue?" He says, chuckling "Oh please" she snaps, climbing back on the tree she was earlier on. Kinich sighs, realizing he's not going to get a reaction out of her. "Wow. That tired eh?" He says, starting to walk away- he still needs to do his dailies. "Yes. Goodbye- Kinich" she says, sourly, closing her eyes. He sighs, his voice turning into a whisper, his stoic expression coming back. "Goodbye Xilonen, goodbye".
