Chapter 4

They all met at the main entrance, with their own bags. As they were all about to leave, Ororon appeared from the shadows, his usual stern look on his face. "So, what's all this talk about leaving campus?" He said, as all of them stopped dead in their tracks, their eyes growing wider every second. Eventually, a shaky voice spoke back from the group "W-well, we have some business to do. And it's none of yours!" Mualani said, her voice trembling across the echoing halls.

"I suppose it is none of my business" Ororon continued, as Alhaitham appeared behind him; one of the strictest professors. "So, it looks like Ororon was right wasn't he?" Alhaitham scolded, as all of them looked at each other, Xilonen having an idea. Chasca caught on pretty quickly, as she shook her head, but eventually gave in. "Now!" She screamed, as all of them made a dash for the front door.

Alhaitham was shocked with the sudden movement, but quickly caught up, as all of them had their own special abilities. Mualani had her shark, swimming faster on water than land. Then Xilonen, her skates gliding through the grass, with a sudden feeling of- delight, thrill, adrenaline. As Kinich swung on the branches, he felt a weight on his waist, as a small gasp escaped his lips. In a seconds notice, hes lost his balance and started to fall, as the world around him started playing in slow-motion. He thought this was the end.

But, instead of falling he was being carried bridal-style by none other than Xilonen. She seemed pissed as well. Their phlogiston was running out, and Alhaitham was right at her tail (no pun intended). After a while, their skills started running out, as the skates below her disappeared, causing her to fall to the ground, scratching her skin.

"Finally came to your senses Xilonen?" Alhaitham smirked, as she just gave him a disgusted look. "Never!" She screamed, as he got pushed to the ground, and when he looked back, she was gone.
