Skates to Love~

Chapter 3

Xilonen went to a nearby store to get some stuff for Chasca. She knew that Citlali and Kinich were coming to their dorm tonight, for some- friendly competition. Only Mualani wished that was the case.

As she finally got back from her dorm, she was greeted with a bear hug from Mualani, eager as ever. "Hey Xilonen!" She exclaimed, as behind her was Citlali, on her phone. "Hey, how are you? Heard that the teacher picked you out today" She said, still on it. When she said that, Kinich's eyes carried a hint of amusement. "Trouble eh?" He whispered, as all of them had a seat at the table. "How funny Kinich" Said a voice from the kitchen, carrying all sorts of delicacies. "Hey Chasca, see you made snacks?" Xilonen Exclaimed, looking at all the food with delight. Her mouth watered from the inside, she could feel it. Chasca wasn't one with words of comfort, but you can't say she isnt a good chef. All five of them dug in, talking about all sorts of things, ranging from sports, to music, and eventually even to- constipated people?

Finally, after an exceptional meal and some inappropriate jokes, Xilonen said the thing that she called them all for tonight. "Guys, I need your attention right now- and Mualani, you've had enough chips" she says, as Mualani stopped in her tracks, sitting at the couch one and for all, looking a bit grumpy. "Guys, I'm sure you all know about Kachina" She says, as all their faces have a hint of seriousness in them. "And- I'm worried about her. I can't help but think that the abyss has something to do with it. What if she's- hurt, or worse?" Xilonen exclaims, her voice filled with anxiousness. "So, I was hoping that you all would- want to go on a quest with me" She blurted out, as all of them had shock on their faces. "Guys, we have to help Kachina" Citlali adds, almost on instinct. I'm so lucky to have friends like these- almost too lucky sometimes' Xilonen thought, as they all smiled at her. "Xilonen, we've never been the best of friends" Kinich says, not meeting her in the eye. "But, let's do it. For Kachina" He says, as everyone raises their voice, along with their glass. "For Kachina!" they say in unison. All as one.

"Hey, this is a great idea and all" Chasca says seriously. "But how do we get out of college? What about a plan?" She mentions, as everyone sighs "Chascas right" Citlali says. "We can't just ditch college, ya know? We have to have a reason. And everybody already knows the 'My sister got lost' trick".

"I suppose we could do it by force then" Kinich says, as everyone looks at him in surprise. "Force? Are you CRAZY Kinich?!" Xilonen exclaims, but deep down she knows she cares about her sister, willing to do anything. "He has a point" Mualani says, as they all sigh. "Let's do it then" Xilonen says. "Tomorrow at midnight, we set off. Take only what you need, like supplies, and whatnot. We've got a journey to get to" She says, as all of them slowly start to leave, Until it was just her and Chasca. "Are you sure about this Xilonen? We don't know the dangers that await us" Chasca says, sounding more worried than ever before. "I'm sure Chasca. She's my sister, and I will do anything to save her. I made a promise Chasca, and Kachina knows it. I need to know if you trust me" Xilonen says, as she was relieved to hear Chasca's voice "I trust you Xilonen. I trust you".
