~1 week later~ ~1 Day before the wedding~

Zac POV
I sit in the barber chair, getting lined up for the big day.

I am very excited about the big day tomorrow. I've been talking to my therapist and I feel like I am really starting to let go of this shit with Fatima. Love doesn't die over night and definitely not in a week...so it's taking time but I am confident I'll get there.

I haven't talked to her since the day I got a call that her dad had a heart attack, I heard from Shantell that Mr. Wilson is doing much better, I was glad to hear that.

I dap up with my barber.

Zac-thanks man.

I say as I head out, I call my future wifey.

Zac-hey beautiful

Valerie-well hello handsome

Zac-I know you said it's bad luck to see each other, but I know you told me you were getting your nails done with the girls so I left something at the front for you don't forget to ask them for it before you leave.

Valerie-babyyy

Zac-I miss you Val and I can't wait to make you officially mine tomorrow

Valerie-I can't wait either Zachary. I love you.

Zac-I love you more baby.

And with that they hang up, Zac texts Sean to go out for drinks later.

Fatima POV
I finish up my last emails for the day. These last couple days have been pretty hectic with my dad healing from a huge health scare. I am just glad he is okay and resting.

I continue to scroll through my email, I see an "invitation" from Valerie that was sent to me before I had my accident ...I just never opened it. Before I do, I hear a knock at my door.

I look up to see Tiffany.

Tiffany-Hey boss lady

Fatima-Hey Tiff, I thought you were out of here by now.

Tiffany-Well I am getting ready to head out, just finishing up a few things. Just wanted to check in with you before I leave.

Fatima-well I think I am good here, I am getting ready to head out as well.

Tiffany-alright well sounds good!

She says as she starts to head out, she then stops herself.

Tiffany-oh one more thing!

Fatima-What's up?

Tiffany-Do you have your outfit picked out for Valerie's wedding tomorrow??

Fatima-Shit...Tiff I am going to be honest I literally just seen her email with the invitation...I mean I haven't opened it yet...

Tiffany-oh that's right...this all was sent before your accident...

Fatima-yeah so I haven't even had time to respond to anything...

Tiffany-Well you have a few dresses in your closet here that you haven't worn yet...I can pull something for you...

Fatima-yeah that's fine...what time tomorrow?

Tiffany-It's at 4:00 pm, I'll just pick you up tomorrow and I'll put one of your dresses in the car for you before I leave.

Fatima-your just amazing Tiff

She smiles as she shuts down her laptop, Tiffany smiles and heads out. Fatima sighs and pulls out her phone and text Danni and Angela to let them know she will meet them at their favorite spot for wings and drinks.
