Becky's pov.

"You can't read it, I'm not done yet!" I whisper-yelled with wild eyes as I tucked away the sheet in my file restlessly, my lips set in an anxious frown. I then realized I was getting unusually hot, sweating like it was summer.

"Okay, chill." Heng raised his brows, "Spending time in the loony bin isn't making you go all psycho, right?"

An awfully familiar thing clawed at my chest, all of a sudden. It was as if any voice was being barred from reaching my ears. I ill-fatedly, knew what this was the beginning of. I ran a hand through my hair, choosing to settle it on the back of my neck, shaking my head. "I'm sorry. I....I got to go." I stood up abruptly, almost knocking my stuff off the table as I grabbed at all of it carelessly.

A few sheets of paper toppled on the floor, as I stumbled while stuffing the rest in my bag with quivering fingers. I was losing feelings in my hands, they were starting to go numb.

Heng looked at me with a baffled expression, "Whoa, you alright Becky?" His words could however, only ring in my ears in the form of a heightened glitch noise. Nevertheless, I managed to give him a short nod of the head, as I turned around.

I could feel my breath starting to flutter. I had to get back to my dorm. I heard a faint voice calling from behind me, as I picked up my pace callously. I spotted a big pot of plant that brought in a hazy feeling of familiarity, but my brain couldn't put two and two together at the moment. I didn't know where I was, or where I was headed towards. The only thing that sounded in my ears was the pounding of blood.

As I kept walking, I could feel the room starting to become blur, my vision growing more distorted by the second. With every single breath I took, my lungs threatened to burst in my chest; I couldn't help but clutch it. But my legs just couldn't stop.

A shoulder brushed past me, almost knocking me off my feet, but I barely even noticed. My heart was hammering away at my ribcage too wildly. My mind was losing its store of consciousness increasingly. A weight in my chest appeared, forcing me to finally pause.

Whatever surface was behind me, I felt myself crashing against it and sliding down, my breath turning into burning heavy pants for oxygen. I was growing lightheaded and my mouth was running dry.

I heard a myriad of voices and chatter, all raining down in my direction.

"Becky....?" A familiar voice stood out.

And just like that, I closed my eyes.
