Chapter 5

Three months had passed since Naruto became a member of Team 7.

In the first month, Kakashi mostly let his students trained on their own. However, he didn't completely ignore them. He taught his students two chakra control trainings: tree walking and water walking.

In the second month, Kakashi introduced them to chakra paper. It turned out that Sakura had natural affinity to earth element. Sasuke's natural affinity were fire and lightning. As for Naruto, it was wind.

So, in the second month, Kakashi taught each of his students an elemental ninjutsu. He was known as Copy Ninja, the one that knew a thousand jutsu. His mastery of sharingan surpassed the majority of Uchiha. And so, he didn't lack jutsu to teach.

Sakura was taught Earth Release: Earth Wall. Sasuke was taught Lightning Release: Lightning Wave. And Naruto was taught Wind Release: Great Wind Breakthrough.

By the end of the the second month, each of them managed to perfect the jutsu. By perfect, it meant they could cast the jutsu with a single hand seal without reducing the quality of the jutsu.

In the third month, Kakashi focused the training on team-work.

He didn't stop his students to train on their own. However, when with him, he focused training them to work as a team either by doing D-rank mission or through another means. At the end of the third months, they had taken twenty six D-rank missions.

Aside of his training with Kakashi and his teammates, Naruto didn't neglect his personal training. He kept focusing on his physique in the past three months. Since his starting point was good, Naruto's physique had improved a lot.

He didn't try to become big like those muscles lovers.

Naruto's goal was to attain a perfect body for fighting, the one that had balance in stamina, strength, and speed. Since Original Naruto's physique was already good, Kiyotaka managed to achieve his goal in three months.

Naruto also had lost the fat on his face and grown taller. Three months ago, he was 146 cms tall. Now, his height hit 151 cms. He had become as tall as Sasuke.

In those three months, Naruto's clones had finished all of their jobs.

They had read all of useful books and scrolls in Public Library, Chuunin Library, and Jounin Library. It's thanks to the ability of rokugan. They could read a page with a glance. They also had finished writing six manuscripts about mystery, romance, and fantasy novels. Unfortunately, there's no book publisher in Konoha---but he knew where he could find one.

After three months, Naruto's chakra control had improved a lot. Now, even without relying on his rokugan, he could cast a C-rank genjutsu. B-rank genjutsu was still beyond his reach, but he wasn't in a rush to become a master of genjutsu. Like he always said, his focus was on his body.

Today, Team 7 was once again gathered at Training Ground 7.

Sasuke, as always, relied on shadow clone to help his training. On the other hand, Naruto was helping Sakura.

"Your posture is slightly off," said Naruto, he stood behind Sakura and corrected her posture. He grabbed her hands and gently positioned them in a perfect form. "This is the correct posture---hm, your hearbeat is rising, what's wrong?"

"Eh, no, no, nothing's wrong! Perhaps I am tired, just need a little rest! Yeah!"

"Hm, I see. Alright, let's stop the training for now. Kakashi-sensei will arrive in less than twenty minutes. Perhaps he will come up with a new training, or perhaps we will have our first C-rank mission."
