The next morning, I went to buy breakfast at Pyaterochka as usual. But strangely, today I didn't see Yulia anywhere. Normally, at this time of day, she would usually come here to buy breakfast.

"She must have been worn out from our late night together and overslept this morning."

I told myself not to think too much. After entering class, finishing the first 3 periods and it was time for recess, I immediately ran to Jay's table and asked:

" Hey Jay ! "

Jay heard someone calling and quickly turned back.

"Have you seen Yulia since this morning?"

I asked.

"Oh, I went to her house this morning because I thought she overslept "

Jay continues.

"When I knocked on the door but got no answer, I decided to go in. But strangely, I found the door unlocked."

"I came in and saw her lying on the bed with a fever!"

After hearing that, I couldn't contain my anxiety so I threw so many questions at Jay that he couldn't answer.

" Is she okay? Why is she sick? Have you bought her medicine yet?"

" Yes, I told her to rest and I did send  medicine to Yulia's house already "

After hearing that, I sighed with relief.

Then suddenly Jay smiled and told me:

"I didn't expect you to worry about her so much! You and she must be really close huh ? "

I stuttered, embarrassed, not knowing how to answer. I knew that Jay and Yulia had been very close friends since childhood. If I told him that I had feelings for Yulia, I was afraid that I would lose this friendship.

"Ah, no! Yulia and I are just friends, she often asks me to help her with her homework."

Jay looked a little doubtful.

"Never mind, if you want to care about her, after school I'll give you her address, but actually her house is right next to mine. Remember to come visit her this evening."

"Thanks, but are you going this afternoon?"

I asked.

"I work overtime this afternoon. Did you forget?"

"Oh, that's right! There have been so many exams lately that I can't remember much."

I put one hand on my nape and awkwardly chuckle.

"Anyway, get your books ready recess is almost over "

Jay told me.

" Ok "

After school, Jay gave me Yulia's address as promised. I wasn't surprised that their houses were so close together. After all, Jay and Yulia had been very close friends since childhood. Jay told me that his parents and Yulia's parents were in business together when they were young, and that's why he had the opportunity to meet Yulia.

That evening, I put on my coat and went to Yulia's house. the weather is still cold today,  Although winter is already over, its remembrance is still lingering just like it doesn't want to let go, the snow still falling and time will continue to move on. The road to her house was covered in pure white, blending in with the flowers about to bloom in spring. It was a scene that could only be seen in early January when winter still lingered with the lingering lingering effects of winter.

While I was searching for the house number that Jay gave me. Suddenly, I saw Yulia coming out of a nearby house. I tried to look at the house number, it was indeed her house. But where was she going at this hour and in this state?

" Yulia! "

I said loudly from afar, she turned around and saw me standing on the opposite side of the road. I immediately walked across the road to where Yulia was standing.

"Hey, Dmitri, what are you doing here? And how do you know my address?"

I still don't want to tell Yulia that Jay gave me her home address.

"Oh, I was walking around and just happened to meet you! Is this your house?"

"What a coincidence! Yes, this is my house "

"Oh, I didn't see you go to school this morning. Are you sick?"

I know Jay told me that she had a fever, but I still asked just to be sure.

"Um, I felt a little tired this morning so I took a break. But don't worry, I just have a slight cold!"

Hearing her say that, I could just nod without answering.  clearly, her facial color changed, and her eyes were dark, I could hardly see her beautiful green pupil sparkling like before.  She probably didn't get enough sleep yesterday. The more I think, the more I feel to be by her side. Because she had no one left, she had to take care of herself alone, and because she didn't want anyone to worry, she always tried to act tough.

But the truth is, deep inside she is very fragile and vulnerable. I can imagine that after her mother passed away. Yulia lay alone in her room crying a lot and at that time, there was no one beside her to share the pain with her.
