Third Person POV
Jaxon's eyes drifted over to Elena as he took position in front of the tomb door. "Are you ready" he asked, and he watched as she gulped before she nodded.
He narrowed his eyes at her slightly before he let out a sigh and then started pushing the door open with his strength. Once it was completely opened Jaxon moved so he was near the entrance.
"Kat, come out come out wherever you are" Jaxon said in a sing song tone causing Elena to look at him funny. "What are you doing Jaxon" she asked making him look to her.
He didn't have a chance to say anything as Katherine, who walked out of the shadows, so she was seen, announced her presentence "I like being your dirty little secret Jaxon."
Jaxon rolled his eyes while Katherine looked to Elena and said, "Jaxon has been coming to see me for a while, he brings me clothes and blood bags like the perfect gentleman he used to be to you."
"Are you serious Jaxon" Elena's expression matched her face while Jaxon looked to Katherine asking, "did you have to word it like that?"
Katherine gave him a smirk while shrugging before he looked to Elena and explained himself. "She is the only one that knows anything about my bond to Rebekah other than Rebekah and since I banished Rebekah from my mind, she is the only person I could go to."
"Why would you do that" Elena asked while Katherine said, "don't make it seem like you don't enjoy my company."
Jaxon rolled his eyes once more before saying "she lied about something, but enough of that. Ask her your questions." Jaxon then sat down in his spot that he usually sits in, and Katherine sat in her spot.
Elena looked between the two of them before she pulled out the blood bag that she had brought for Katherine. "I guess you don't need this then" she said, and Katherine looked at it and responded, "not really but I would always appreciate extras."
"Not until you tell us about Klaus" Elena said and Katherine shrugged, "then I guess I don't get extras."
"Katherine" Jaxon deadpanned, and Katherine looked at him for a second before looking at Elena, "alright, what do you want to know?"
Elena sat down extremely close to Jaxon and took out an old book. "It's your family history. It says in here that the family line ended with you. Obviously, that's not true" Elena started.
"You think that if you brought me some family keepsake that I'd open up" Katherine asked with a smirk an eyebrow raised. Jaxon rolled his eyes before saying "No that's why she brought me, Rose told Elena a bit of the story, you managed to escape Klaus, which is why you are on the run, you probably came here to hand over Elena for your freedom and tormenting her was just your fun."
Katherine looked shocked that he read her so easily, but she didn't have time to say anything as Jaxon kept talking. "Katherine, as much as you don't like Elena you have the chance to help her and whoever else is in danger escape just like you did, use it" he finished and left Katherine in deep thought.
She stared into his eyes. His very hopeful and trusting eyes.
"It's a long story, Klaus and I. It goes all the way back to England, 1492, after I left Bulgaria. Or was thrown out" Katherine started her story which surprised Jaxon as he didn't believe his speech was actually doing to work.
