Third Person POV

When Jaxon woke up, he hardly wanted to move. His sister and his oldest friends are in danger, and he could do nothing. Well, he could do something but then the person who his soul is bonded to will be hurt which will hurt him.

He is so confused and lost. And nobody he knows understands how much.

Jaxon would have stayed in bed all day if it wasn't for the three knocks on his window. with furrowed eyebrows he opened his window up and saw Elijah on the ground.

"What the fuck" Jaxon stated and Elijah responded, "language young man I don't want my little sister picking up bad habits."

Jaxon rolled his eyes while Elijah said, "invite me in so we could talk." Jaxon closed his window and went downstairs and opened the front door revealing a smirking Elijah.

"You are so lucky my sister is at school" Jaxon said before moving aside and saying, "come in Elijah." Elijah moved with grace and elegance much like Rebekah.

Elijah turned to him, "and why aren't you?" Jaxon rolled his eyes, "well when you find out your sister and a few of your greatest friends are going to die and there is nothing you can do about it if you don't want to hurt the person you are bonded with it takes a lot out of you."

"So, I see you heard about the sacrifice that must happen so my brother your brother-in-law can become his full self" Elijah stated and Jaxon eyes widen before saying "uh no I just heard about the sacrifice not what Klaus fully is, and brother-in-law is way too many steps ahead."

Elijah chuckled, "you are already considered family amongst our siblings, so it is not a few steps ahead from us." Jaxon paused as he heard that, but he knew it was true.

"Is it true, can you see my sister" Elijah suddenly asked and Jaxon nodded his head saying, "yes ever since I was a kid but not right now, I blocked her out of my head."

"Why would you do that" Elijah asked and Jaxon responded, "because she lied to me, she knew everyone I love was going to die and I was going to be the only fortunate one because I was tied to her and you guys."

Elijah sighed before he sat down on the couch and made a gesture that Jaxon does the same. When he did Elijah spoke, "you have to understand young one that my sister is fiercely loyal to our family always has been, she spent a thousand years running by Niklaus's side while trying to help him and find you and right now she has done both but can't communicate it as she is daggered along without other siblings."

"She isn't betraying you; she is trying to help the second most important thing in her life with something he really wants as she now can finally relax as she found you" Elijah finished and Jaxon clenched his jaw at the point he made.

He knew he wasn't wrong, but he still didn't like it. The people who made his life better are all going to die and he is just supposed to move passed it with a new family isn't right to him.

"You may not like it, but it is the truth I can assure you" Elijah stated and Jaxon looked to him. "Can you tell me more about the bond, I only know a few things from Katherine."

Elijah smiled and said, "not everything about the bond has been discovered you and Rebekah will have to figure somethings out for yourselves, but I can tell you a little of what I know."

"Ok, all I know is that her mother was the one who did it, after me and Rebekah complete the bond if she dies, I die and vice versa, there is a three-step process to completing the bond and that she will be able to feel when I'm hurt or in pain and vice versa," Jaxon explained.

Elijah nodded his head, "yes that is all true, I was there when Rebekah got the little bits and pieces from the witches she spoke to, we also learned that you guys will be able to channel each other's power, you will be able to faintly tell where each other is, and that your souls will always find a way to pull you to each other."

"Is that it" Jaxon asked as he processed what was told and Elijah responded with a firm nod "yes, the rest is stuff that you have to find out when you meet my sister as not I nor she knows the true extent of what it means to have your soul bonded with someone else."

Jaxon slowly nodded his head and looked away before he thought of something and looked back. "Why are you here Elijah, are you here to bring me to your sister and take my sister and friends to Klaus to break whatever curse was put on him" he asked looking at the older man.

"The curse that was placed on our brother binds him from tapping into his wolf side and embracing his true and complete self, another spell my mother did out of guilt, but I am not here to help him, I am here to stop him" Elijah stated.

"What why" Jaxon asked and Elijah responded "Niklaus has thrown our families daggered bodies including Rebekah's into the body of the ocean, he told me himself, as I cannot retrieve them, I will avenge them, I intend on killing Niklaus."

Jaxon mouth dropped as he gazed at Elijah in shock at what he just admitted before he stood up and nodded and stuck out his hand.

"I will help you kill Klaus, just promise me that my family will stay safe and even if I die in the process you will continue to protect them."

"I vow it to you your family will not be hurt" Elijah vowed shaking Jaxon's hand unknowingly starting a bond between the two of them that won't ever be broken, not even when people's faiths and fates come into question.

A/N Don't scream I'm not dead I was dying from fever, which was why I wasn't posting on anything, but I am better now.
