CAL PULLS HER knees to her chest, dipping her hot cheetos into her strawberry yogurt. her mind's been in a cycle of worry and anxiety all day, and right now, she's just trying to distract herself with mindless youtube videos and junk food.
she takes another bite of her weird combination of chips and yogurt, the saltiness and sweetness blending in her mouth. it's not the best combination, but it's enough to keep her thoughts from spiraling out of control.
even while eating, her eyes dart between her phone and the pill bottle that sits on the desk. it feels like it's mocking her, silently reminding her of the choice she's been putting off.
she tries to ignore it and focuses back on her phone, but the bottle's presence is like a siren's call, drawing her attention even as she tries to push it out of her mind.
