2nd year: Beginning madness

I spent the next four weeks at the Weasley's house, it was nice and homey, and even with the chaos of the 8 of us, it still seemed to be comfortable.

The morning of the first day of Hogwarts, I woke up to a bunch of banging, thumping, and some yelling.

I got out of my bed, which was by Ginny's, and went to see what was going on.

"Oh Y/n! You're up! Mum is very frantic about getting us all out the door in time." Fred (or George) said.

"Oh ok, I'll just try to get ready then, don't want your mum to be any more stressed."

Then George (or Fred) came up behind the other twin, and said hello.

After a few minutes I was able to grab my stuff and quickly change, brush my hair and teeth and get my cat in their cage.

I then ran into Percy.

"Oh, it's you. At least SOMEONE's ready," He said.

I nodded and went pack to getting all of my stuff completely packed after he walked by.

We were then all called down for a quick breakfast.

We ate some eggs and bacon that Molly had prepared us, and we were off.

We somehow all fit into what Mr. Weasley called a Ford Anglia, and flew into the sky. Mr. Wealsey wanted to turn on the invisible booster, but Molly told him no.

We then make it to King's Cross Station and ran to Platform 9 3/4.

"10:58. Come on!" Mr. Weasley says.

"Train will be leaving any moment!" Molly exclaimed.

"Fred, George, Percy, you first!" Mr Weasley said.

Fred (or George) runs through the wall first and then, Percy and George (or Fred).

"Okay," Molly said, patting Ginny on the back for encouragement. Ginny then runs through the wall. Mr. Weasley offers Molly to go first, then shortly follows.

I then run through the wall, trolley in hand, following the rest of the Weasley childeren on to the Hogwarts Express. I thank Molly and Mr. Weasley, and run to find a seat.

I put my stuff in the storage compartment, and go to find a seat.

I quickly spot Hermione and run to sit with her.

"What took you so long? The train's almost departing, and where are Ron and Harry?" She asks.

I look to try and find them boarding the train, but I don't see their familiar faces.

Hermione began to look worried.

"I'm sure they're about to be on the train any moment now, they were right behind me," I nervously say, trying to reassure both her and me.

But just a few seconds later, the train starts to depart.

Hermione and I exchange worried glances.

What if they weren't going to make it to Hogwarts? What if they get expelled?

We tried to shake it off and tell ourselves they would get to Hogwarts one way or another, and if they weren't there by the end of the feast, we would tell Dumbledore.

We starting talking about some other books we had read and their plots, seeming as we couldn't do anything about Harry and Ron and the moment, we loved to do this in our letters back and forth.

I particularly am a huge fantasy fan, despite being in a  literal magic world. I have dreamed since I was little of having a fantasy type story, about meeting a prince charming and living a happy life. Stupid, I know, but I always found hope in it, something has been telling me all these years that I would meet a prince like boy and have a happy ending with him, even if it took a long time.
