Jhanvi
"Meri Jaan kiya mujhe jana hi padega?" he whined, his voice dripping with desperation as he clung onto me. His hands wrapped around my chest so hard that it got a bit hard to breathe.
"Yes, you doo" I replied, my tone firm, only for him to cling even harder while I tried to move but it didn't work. He was holding me so tight I barely got a chance to even budge from his grip, or even lift my arms.
"You agreed yesterday, so don't back up now" I said, trying to change his mind but he whined shaking his head like a stubborn kid refusing to go to school, a small pout forming on his lips.
"You blackmailed me with kisses! I didn't want to say yes..but you made me.." he protested, making me rest my head on his shoulder with a small smile. Amaya and Aryan watched us with a smile knowing I'd convince him sooner or later.
"Ek kiss dedo please" I whispered softly, and he quickly leaned his head back, eyes sparkling with happiness.
"You don't have to ask Meri Jaan–" he murmured, leaning in to claim the kiss. But as his lips hovered over mine, and his grip loosened, I slipped out of his grasp, making him whine. He reached out to grab my wrist but I stepped back only for him to step closer. I quickly ran behind Bhaiya.
"Nahi! Ab jao!" I said firmly, but Bhaiya grabbed my wrist and pushed me in front of him, giving me to him. I glared at Bhaiya while he hugged me again. Obviously, these two brothers are always working together. I'll deal with Bhaiya later.
"Aap abhi unfair khel rahe ho" he muttered, resting his head on my neck. I wrapped my arms around his neck resting my head on his shoulder. I can't believe I was nervous around him on the first day. Not nervous, but scared that he'll be cold towards me and why wouldn't I? He looks like he'd kill anyone with one look.
"You're acting like a child you know that?" I teased and he just smiled against my neck. I say that a lot now.
"Aryan, am I acting like a child?" he asked making me shake my head. He's asking as if Bhaiya will agree.
"Bilkul bhi nahi, bhabhi, ye to haq hai na mere bhai ka" he replied with a grin, making me sigh. I knew it.
"Dono hi ek jese hai" I muttered under my breath, earning a chuckle from Amaya.
"Amaya, am I acting like a child?" he asked, wanting confirmation from her.
"Bilkul nahi. Ye to—" she stopped mid-sentence, exchanging a knowing look with Bhaiya before finishing in unison. "Haq hai na"
"Chalo ab jao, nahi to late ho jaoge" I whispered, but he had no intentions of letting go. He wrapped his arms around my waist even tighter.
"Nahi hoga late.." he murmured, his lips brushing against my temple.
"Hanji, plane to inka hi hai na" I said sarcastically, earning a laugh from Bhaiya.
"Kuch esa hi samj lo, bhabhi"
"Ab jao bhi sahi!" I insisted, but he leaned back to meet my gaze, his expression full of exaggerated hurt.
"Lagta hai aap mujhe ghar nahi chahte ho" he said dramatically, and I nodded without hesitation.
"Bilkul bhi nahi! Kisne batayea ye sach aapko?" I shot back, matching his tone. He stared at me for a moment, his lips twitching as if holding back a smile.
