Mine (A Connor Ball Love Story)

New Friends

            The next day my mom and I were at the phone store. "Okay, hun, what phone do you want? Nothing too expensive, please." My mom was looking at the phones in the store and I was doing the same. I looked around for the cheapest smartphone, because I couldn't live without being able to play games and go on YouTube whenever I "need" to. Eventually I found one. 

           "How about this one?" I held the phone up to my mom. She looked at the price then looked at the phone. She nodded her agreement and we bought the phone. In case you're wondering what happened to my head, we went to the doctor and he said that it was just a scrape from hitting the ground and it would heal very quickly. Anyways, when we got out of the store, I started copying all of the numbers on my hand into my new phone. I decided to wait before adding the boys as contacts because I always let everyone choose what their name is in my phone. I texted all of the boys asking what they wanted their names to be, and including my name, as they didn't get it when we were on the bus. They all sent back their greetings and their contact names. I saved them in my phone, a grin playing on my face.

          When we got home, my new phone buzzed.

         From: Davey Jones

         Do you want to hang out later? :P

         I screamed. Thank goodness my mom wasn't home. CONNOR BALL WANTED TO HANG OUT WITH ME!!!!! CONNOR BALL!!!!!

         To: Davey Jones

         Sure, when and where?

         I was glad we were just texting because I was freaking out.

         From: Davey Jones

         I could come over to yours at around six? 

         I checked the time. 3:30. That gave me three hours to clean the entire house and take a shower and get ready. I can do this.

         To: Davey Jones

         Sure, sounds good. See you then! x

         Oh no, I added a kiss. Will he take that the wrong way and think I'm some freaky obsessed fangirl?

         From: Davey Jones

         Ok! See you! x

         He added a kiss too!! Phew, I almost died. Now to get ready. I took a turbo shower and dried my hair. Then I changed into some shorts and a tank top. 4:00. I quickly put on some light makeup and pulled my hair up into a ponytail. Then, I went through the whole house and cleaned every inch of it. Right when I finished cleaning the last room, I heard a ding. He was here! I double-checked in the mirror than ran to get the door. There, standing like a god, was Connor. At my house. On my doorstep. 

         "Hey, Trixie." Connor said. I smiled and greeted him, then invited him in. He walked into my house, looking around, then smiled at me.

         "It's nice to see you again." I said, smiling like an idiot. Feeling like one, too.

         "You too. I like your shirt." I blushed when I realized I was wearing a Vamps shirt. I wan't even paying any attention to my shirt when I got dressed.

         "Well, you know, they're my favorite band so..." I said, acting like he wasn't part of them.

          He laughed. "I like their music too. I especially like the Scottish guy. What's his name? Connor, right? He is so good at bass and he is an awesome singer."

          "I don't know, he's a little too egotistic for me..." Now I was giggling , and so was Connor. When we both finally calmed down, we kinda looked into each other's eyes and then looked down, both of us blushing. "Hey, I wanna show you something." I grabbed his wrist and pulled him upstairs to my room.

          "Will my mum approve?" He said, wiggling his eyebrows.

          "Unless your mum hates bearded dragons, I don't think so." I said.

          "You have a bearded dragon? Awesome!" He looked around and saw Archie in his cage. "Can I touch him?"

          "Sure." Connor petted Archie, rubbing his finger on Archie's chin. My lizard seemed to enjoy it, which was surprising because he never usually showed any emotion.

          "Wow, I can never get a real reaction from him." I said, surprised.

          "I've learned a lot from my lizard." He said simply.

           We smiled and stared and slightly blushed at each other for a while until I said, "So, what do you want to do?"

          He thought for a moment. "We could go to the park?"

          I smiled and said, "Sounds good to me."
