"I was supposed to be sent away, but they forgot to come and get me . . .
I was a functioning alcoholic till nobody noticed my new aesthetic"

The tribrid listened to that song on repeat as she walked to her World History class in Folks High School. At least they still had Taylor Swift depression to get her through the day.

For the record the whole vampire goes to school thing, even though they're way older than a higher schooler, is very been there done that - *cough-cough* Stefan Salvatore.

But sadly for her she could apparently pass as a seventeen year-old. Because here she was sitting in World History nursing a hangover.

Officer Swan found her one day sitting on a park bench attempting to find a way back home, and he had it in his head that she was skipping. She tried to explain to him that she was twenty, but he promptly ignored her. And without any parent to call or ID to show, he sent her to Folks High School

So there she was, Hope Mikaelson, once again going to high school. The tribrid had opted to use her real name because she wanted to pull any supernaturals that might have known her family out of hiding.

"Miss Mikaelson, what did I just ask the class?"

Hope turned her head up at command, "Not sure."

"You need to listen better in class, Miss Mikaelson," the teacher reprimanded.

Hope couldn't help the eye roll that followed.

"Miss Mikaelson to the principal's office."

This whole thing was crap. Why was she even here? Who cares if Swan put out a missing person report if she skipped and never came back? She would just move.

The Mikaelson was on her way out of the school, but her hearing picked up the sound of Swan's annoying voice.

Luckily she was a witch, "invisque."

The tribrid quickly vanished from sight. She was able to walk by Swam with ease. Hope couldn't stop the smirk that appeared as she pasted the officer.

She waited a good mile become she took it off. Better safe than sorry. She finally reached the tree where she had kept all her stuff. It was a pitiful hole filled with a few things she had scavenged: the original outfit she was wearing when she faced Ken, a blue jean jacket, a green shirt, black jeans, and a small bottle of soap.

It was all she owned. It brought her too much déjà vu sometimes when she thought about her small side quest as a Mystic Falls high school student.

Hope still had yet to build a life for herself here. She kept holding onto the hope that she could escape this universe but it seemed impossible.

The Mikaelson sighed. It was time to buy a one way ticket to New Orleans. Then at least she would be around familiar places. She had wanted to stay in Folks originally, there was a reason she was here. There had to be. The blast had happened in Mystic Falls, Virginia. Yet Hope had landed in Folks, Washington. Something supernatural was pulling her here, she felt it in her gut.

Suddenly she heard a loud crunch. An animal of some kind?

One second she was standing there and the next, she was backed into a tree with an iron like hand gripping her throat. That hand belonged to a boy. His hair was so blonde it was almost white. His eyes were a cold blue, but there was something else there. Maybe curiosity?

Well, it appears she had gotten her wish. There was another supernatural in Folks, Washington.
