chapter 005

The top 3 reasons Hope Mikaelson needed a drink:

1. Cravings were a bitch. The cougar blood had helped - a bit, but not enough. It also seemed that Rowan did not need as much blood as she did or he was hunting without her (which was a real possibility). But either way, she craved human blood, badly. And what did alcohol do? It curbed her cravings. No wonder her family's house had more alcohol than food.

2. Edward was an annoying pain in her ass. Contrary to Rowan's belief, it seemed that Bella had shared her curiosity with her boyfriend. Since then, Edward had been trying to read her mind. How did she know this? The asshole was fighting very, very hard against her half baked spell. Hope had been working on it, but it still wasn't anything to brag about.

3. She missed her friends, her family, the school, and old supernatural laws. She had always been different, but now this entire universe didn't recognize her.

To put it simply, her life sucked at the moment.

She had run out of alcohol in her first week. Then she met Rowan, who probably would not be the biggest fan of her very illegal activities or at least his family wouldn't. And it would really suck if Officer Swan caught her, so naturally the tribrid compelled a cab to Seattle. She found herself a nice bar and compelled the bartender to not just let her in, but give her the whole bottle of tequila.

As she sipped from an incredibly large bottle, a women caught her eye. Her smile drew her in, and Hope was way too drunk to throw away a good time.

She gave the girl a once over, "You'll do."

The girl's eyebrows rose as she smirked. The two started dancing to the song Tornado. The dance brought back memories of her no humanity period. She would admit a part of her missed it. The lack of emotions.

But she would never go back. She had killed a lot of people - including her best friend. Guilt had never left the tribrid even when she was in a different universe. So obviously the solution was drown her sorrows.

I really am my father's daughter, she thought as she finished the bottle. She returned to the woman and they continued dancing and drinking.

"Hope Mikaelson!"

My luck is actual shit. Officer Swan stood behind her with a face of four different kinds of red.

"Yes?" Hope asked sweetly.

"You're coming with me!"

"Now what the hell were you doing at a bar in the middle of the day in Seattle?" Officer Swan questioned.

"I was thirsty."

"Alcohol dehydrates you."

Hope struggled, "What is it that I need to do?"
