The dining hall fell into a hushed silence as everyone focused their attention on Y/N, who stood confidently by Jungkook's grandfather, a dignified presence with a hint of a mischievous smile playing at her lips. Across the table, Jungkook sat frozen, his grip tightening around his wine glass, eyes locked on his wife as a wave of disbelief washed over him. She had been pushing his limits all evening, skillfully maneuvering every interaction with ease and control. And now, standing next to his grandfather, she seemed to have orchestrated something far bigger than any of them had anticipated.

"Tonight," his grandfather began, his voice steady and full of authority, "is a special evening for this family, as I have a decision to share with all of you. It's a decision I have spent a great deal of time considering."

Murmurs broke out around the table, family members exchanging curious glances, trying to piece together what was unfolding. Jungkook's mother raised an eyebrow in suspicion, her gaze darting from her father-in-law to Y/N with growing apprehension.

His grandfather continued, squeezing Y/N's hand as he spoke. "I have watched Y/N closely over the years, observed her strength, her resilience... the ways she has shown loyalty to this family." His gaze shifted around the room, silencing any murmurs. "I believe in rewarding loyalty and dedication, and so I have decided that I will be passing down a significant portion of my estate to Y/N."

The words landed like a bombshell, rippling through the room in stunned silence. Jungkook felt the weight of it hit him, disbelief mixing with a sense of betrayal. He rose abruptly, staring across the table at his grandfather, his face tight with barely concealed anger. "You're giving... half of your estate? To Y/N?" he demanded, his voice taut with disbelief. "What makes her so deserving?"

His grandfather held his ground, meeting Jungkook's gaze firmly. "I have given this decision a great deal of thought, Jungkook. My properties in Dubai, England, and France will now belong to Y/N. She has proven herself, not only as your wife but as a member of this family. She is far more capable and resilient than you give her credit for."

Jungkook's mother's face contorted with outrage as she sputtered, "This is preposterous! She's done nothing but-"

"Enough," his grandfather said, cutting her off with a stern look. "Y/N has shown more loyalty and respect than most of us in this room have given her credit for. She will be named as one of my heirs, equal to Jungkook. This decision is final."

As he spoke, Y/N's smile remained serene, her hand still linked with his grandfather's, radiating a calm confidence that seemed to only infuriate Jungkook further. He looked at her, his mind racing, trying to decipher her intentions, to understand how she had managed to sway his grandfather so completely.

"This is ridiculous," Jungkook hissed under his breath, staring hard at Y/N. "What did you say to him? What did you promise?"

She met his gaze evenly, lifting her chin. "I've only ever been myself, Jungkook. It's not my fault if that's enough."

"Enough?" he scoffed. "You can't even-" He stopped himself, catching his mother's sharp gaze and realizing he'd nearly let slip his grandfather's unspoken desire for a grandchild.

But his grandfather caught on, smiling faintly as he glanced between them. "Jungkook, it seems you've misjudged her, not just in loyalty but also in her abilities as a mother."

The room went deathly silent, every pair of eyes now riveted on Y/N, a mix of disbelief and shock etched across their faces.

"What do you mean?" Jungkook's mother asked, her voice trembling slightly.

His grandfather turned to Y/N, his expression warm as he announced, "Y/N is carrying the next heir of this family. She is pregnant, and this child will continue the Jeon legacy."
