As Mahad descended the stone steps...
The flickering flames of the torches danced eerily against the cold damped walls of the palace.
The cool wind rushed through the corridors, making the torches flickering dangerously...
As if they were struggling for breath.
With a swift motion, he dipped a cloth into the flame and refilled the torches..
Ensuring they burned brightly despite the relentless gusts.

His mind, however,...
It was far from the task at hand..

Yuza...

The name echoed in his thoughts, heavy with concern.
Why did she feel the need to run away?

"Was it something I missed?" Mahad

He pondered.
The thought nagged at him..
Gnawing at his gut like a persistent ache.
He recalled her distant gaze during their last conversation..
The shadows lurking behind her bright smile. It was clear to him that something was troubling her.

Doubts? Instability?
Mahad frowned, his brow furrowing in worry. Yuza was strong, but even the strongest could break under the weight of their burdens.
He knew the feeling all too well
He had fought his own battles against

Perhaps that was why he felt such a deep connection to her.
She needed to escape..
He thought, frustration building within him. But where had she gone?

The thought of her wandering alone in the vastness of the village..
Potentially in danger
Sending a chill down his spine.

"I must find her" Mahad

He resolved with determination igniting a fire within him that rivaled the torches he had just tended.
He couldn't shake the feeling that her troubles were tied to the chaos surrounding Bakura.

If Yuza was truly going after him, it could lead to dire consequences.
It could mean multiple things

With a final glance at the torches...
Mahad stepped out into the cool air
The wind whipping through his hair as he prepared to follow her trail.
The night was dark, but..
He would do whatever it took to bring her back safely

Mahad descended further..
His footsteps echoing softly against the stone floor as he navigated through the temple.
The air grew cooler...
The scent of aged wood and incense swirling around him.

As he neared the entrance..
He felt a sudden shift in the atmosphere
A tingling sensation prickling at the back of his neck.

He stopped, instinctively stepping back. There..
Nestled within a beautifully ornate flower vase..
He caught a glimpse of movement.
His heart raced as he narrowed his eyes..

Ready to react if necessary.

"Mana?" Mahad

He called out..
Recognizing the familiar figure emerging from the shadows.
Mana looked up, surprising flickering in her eyes before she broke into a relieved smile.

"Mahad! I didn't expect to see you here.
What are you doing?" Mana

"I could ask you the same thing," Mahad

He replied, his voice steadying.

"You shouldn't be wandering around here alone. It's not safe, especially with everything going on." Mahad

She brushed off his concern with a wave of her hand...
Her playful demeanor shining through.

"I was just checking on things. The temple needed some tending, and I thought it would be nice to lighten the mood with some flowers." Mana

Her expression faltered..
A hint of worry creeping into her voice.

"Have you seen Yuza? I've been feeling... off since she left." Mahad

Mahad's heart sank at her question.

"That's what I'm trying to figure out.
She ran off, and I'm worried about her.
I think there must be something wrong with her" Mana

Mana's brows knitted together in concern.

"I felt a strange energy when she left. It was as if something was pulling her away. Do you think she's in danger?" Mana

"Possibly," Mahad

He admitted, his voice low.

"If she's gone after Bakura, she could be walking into a trap. I need to find her." Mahad

Determination flickered in his eyes as he glanced toward the entrance.

"We should stick together. I can't let her face whatever is waiting out there alone."Mahad

Mana nodded, her expression turning serious.

"I'll help you. We can't let her face this on her own." Mana

"Fine... just help out when you work on it," Mahad

He said..
His tone a mix of annoyance and concern.

"Yes... I'll track for her from here," Mana

She replied, her eyes narrowing with focus. She closed her eyes..
Concentrating on the connection she could shared with Yuza.
The air around them seemed to thrum with energy as she attempted to sense any lingering traces of Yuza's presence.

Mahad watched her intently..
His mind racing with thoughts of Yuza.
He couldn't shake the feeling that she was in trouble.

"If you pick up anything, let me know immediately," Mahad

He urged, his voice laced with urgency.

"I will... just give me a moment" Mana

She assured him...
As her brow furrowing in concentration.
