Two days after the the Imperial Force attacked the base of the Blue Storm Kingdom, Joana and the otherswere now taking a well-deserved dayoff while there was no sign of new Imperial attack on the base of the Blue Storm Kingdom.

"Alright. I guess we received a well-derved day off." Joana said. "finally, i can able to rest my body."

The others nodded, their expressions a mix of fatigue and relief. A day off was rare, especially in the midst of a war, and they were all silently grateful for the respite.

They dispersed, each going off to their preferred leisure activities. Some retreated to the barracks for a nap. Others headed to the mess hall to get a bite to eat, no doubt telling stories of the recent battle. One or two even found a quiet corner to tinker with their zoids, always preparing for the next fight.

Joana, however, remained standing, a frown on her face.

"I just cannot relax," she mutters to herself. Her mind is still buzzing from the recent battle, and the thought of more to come keeps her on edge.

She looks over at the others. They're resting, yes, but she can see the same tension in their bodies, the same worry in their eyes.

She shakes her head. This is a respite, nothing more. They need to be ready.

She glances up at the sky, her eyes searching for any sign of danger. There's nothing, but that does little to ease her anxiety.

"Well, I'm going to relax in the resort." Joana said. "Just in the nearby town within the Blue Storm Kingdom. I will return from taking a swim on the swimming, for checking maintenance program of my zoid."

"If that's the case, go for it." Col. Matthew Bridgehead said. "Don't forget to put your walkie talkie on your bag, just in case I might contact you just in case of emergency."

The soldiers around her look up, curiosity piqued. "The resort?" one asks.

"Isn't that a little...indulgent?" another adds, a hint of jealousy in his voice.

Joana just snorts. "I don't have to justify it to you," she replies, a wry smile on her lips.

With that, she strides off towards the resort, leaving the others staring after her, more than a little envious.

"Well, at least she has a walkie talkie just in case if we contact her just in case of emergency." Corporal Rachel Holiday said.

"I have to agree. But for now, we must keep watching outside  of our station to keep an eye for any enemy sightings in the middle of dusty terrain." Col. Matthew Bridgehead said.

The soldiers nodded in agreement. The base was secure, but they couldn't relax. They were always on the lookout for danger.

The day passed quietly, the only sounds those of the occasional bird call and the wind rustling through the trees. But nobody relaxed completely.

And as the sun began to dip below the horizon, the tension in the air was palpable. It was as if they were all waiting for the other shoe to drop.

Joana returned to the base and headed to her room to dressed her uniform to returned her active duty.

The others noticed her immediately. "Back so soon, Chief?" one asked jokingly.

Joana rolled her eyes, but didn't rise to the bait. "Someone's got to keep you all in line," she retorted, a smile tugging at the corner of her lips.

She returned to her usual spot, her mind alert and her body poised. She'd had her rest, now she needed to keep watch.

The night was quiet, but the threat of attack weighed heavily in the air.
