Sirens shrieked as the ambulance screeched into the hospital's emergency entrance.

Doctors and nurses sprinted out, faces etched with urgency.
"Trauma Incoming! Multiple critical! We have two codes!" a paramedic yelled.
Motionless bodies.
Kaius and Dax.
Lying side by side.
_HEARTSTOPPER_
Dr. Thompson rushed alongside the gurney, her voice low and urgent.
"Let's move, move, move! We're losing them both!"
CPR in progress.
"Come on, come on, come on!" she muttered, her hands moving swiftly.
Compression.
Compression.
Compression.
"Charging defibrillator! Clear!!!"
A jolt.
Kaius's body arched, then collapsed.
"Sinus rhythm, but fading! We're running out of time!"
_DAX'S STRUGGLE_
Next to Kaius, Dax lay still, oxygen mask secured.
Monitors beeped erratically.
Nurse Jenkins injected medication, her hands shaking.
"Vital signs crashing! We're losing Dax!"
Dr. Nate rushed over, his face grim.
"Intubate! Now! We need to keep him alive!"
_CODE BLUE_
Hospital intercom blared, echoing through the corridors.
"Code Blue, Trauma Room 3! We have two critical!"
"Prepare OR 2 for emergency surgery, stat!"
"Get me 4 units of O-negative blood, now!"
"Nurse, call anesthesia! We need them ready now!"
_PARENTAL DESPERATION_
Kaius's parents rushed alongside the gurney, frantic.
"Kaius, my baby! Don't leave me!" his mother sobbed.
"Stay back, ma'am! Please!" Dr. Thompson ordered.
Dax's father grasped his wife's hand, his eyes wild.
"Dax, no, no, no... my son!" his father whispered.
_GUI LT-RIDDEN TEXT_
Dax's phone lay on the floor, the text message glowing.
"Dax, I'm so sorry... I wasn't there for you...
I should've been there.... -k"
Tears streamed down Dr. Thompson's face.
"Don't give up, child! Hang on!!!"
The hospital room became a blur.
Chaos.
Tension.
Fear.
