"THERE'S GOING TO BE A WHAT SCENE??" Keyu exclaims as he stares at his teacher in dismay, his action causing his glasses to fall to the tip of his nose.
"There's going to be a kissing scene in this play Keyu. You're playing the lead role, you should've known that by now." The teacher replies before letting out a sigh.
The lad ran his fingers through his hair in distress as he skims through the script.
"I've been so busy, I haven't had the time to read this whole play and read through all my dialogues," Keyu says as he continues to flip through the script in panic. No way in hell is he going to do a kissing scene.
"You have to kiss the female lead on the lips too. How romantic. I know this because I've watched previous performances of this play." Jake teased as he couldn't help but let out a cackle. His friend looks over at him in fury.
"That's giving me even more reasons to not want to do that scene." Keyu groans as he regrets not reading through the whole play before he decided to try and play the main role.
"Why not? Don't tell me it's because you haven't had your first kiss yet." Jake stated. He found it weird that Keyu was being so defensive all of a sudden. He usually never cared when it came to acting and performing. But why is it this time, he's getting so agitated over a freaking kissing scene?
"That's exactly the reason, and also because I don't want to be kissing another girl when I'm currently dating Ningning." He sighs tiredly before sitting down on the stage.
"But it's just acting bro. I'm sure she'll understand." His friend reasons as Keyu looks at him with a sinister look.
"I don't care if it's just acting. Bro, it's me and Ningning's first time dating. Our first time experiencing everything together as a couple. I want her to be my first kiss, not some other girl." Keyu says bashfully as he looks away from Jake's stare. The lad too embarassed to look him in the eye after saying that.
Hearing this, Jake couldn't help but to tease him even further. "Gosh what spell did Ningning put on you. You never used to be such a loverboy." He laughs before messing up Keyu's hair as he found him irrisistable.

"Do you think this chapter is worth analysing? It's pretty interesting. I think people who doesn't pay much attention to detail are going to notice why this chapter is significant. I want to write about the clues that the killer had left and its implication." Ningning says as she shows Keyu the chapter that she was talking about. Keyu looking over to see that her page was fully highlighted and annotated like crazy.
"Sure go ahead. The more analysis the better." He replies as she smiles at him before starting her analysis. Ningning clicking away on her laptop as she was consentrated on finishing this project so she could spend the weekends going to a concert with her friends.
Keyu didn't know why he's just been so out of it after his last class. Maybe that kissing scene was really bothering him. One side of him wanted to just surrender the main role, whilst the other side of him was conflicted whether he should just continue on. He did try his hardest to be able to get this role, and it'd be a waste just to throw it all away all because of a fucking kiss.
He stares at the girl that was seated in front of him. Keyu watching as Ningning had her full attention on her laptop screen. The sight made the sides of his lips lift up as a small smile appears on his face as he admires the girl. Ningning might not realise it but she's actually really smart. She's always overreacting over the smallest things, she sometimes think that she can't do it, but the next second she'd always find a way to conquer that problem. In keyu's eyes, he sees the girl in front of him as a genius. If only people around them would understand that too because they're always focused on the fact that Ningning likes to cause trouble with everyone.
"Hellooooo earth to keyy!" Ningning chanted as she waves her hands in front of his face. This snapping Keyu out of his daydream as he blinks his eyes before shaking his head to get back to reality.
"Oh, sorry about that." He apologises before fixing his posture.
"You've been dozing off for quite a while there. And you were staring at my direction, I thought there was something on my face but then when I tried to call your name out, you didn't hear me. So I thought you were observing someone behind me and I looked behind but no one was behind me. What's in that head of yours." She tells him.
"Nothing. I'm just... really tired. I've been so out of it lately because of this play rehearsal." He answers as she frowns.
"Must be hard memorising a lot of dialogue, plus doing this project. Imagine if you start rehearsing the lines from this sherlock holmes book insteead of the dialogue from your play hahaha." She jokes as it manages to make him let out a soft chuckle.
"Hopefully, that doesn't happen." He says before shaking his head in disbelief.
"Anyways, I finished the analysis. We're done now right?!! We already wrote ten pages, that should be enough. If you don't mind, could you proof read through my work and see if there's anything that needs correcting." Ningning grins as she pushes her laptop over to her boyfriend. She was too lazy to read through her work, could you balme her.
"Alright then. Once I'm done proof reading through all of this, we could upload our work and call it a day." He tells her as she lets out an excited squeal.
"Finally!! Can't wait to spend my weekend not thinking about Sherlock Holmes." She whines as her boyfriend rolled his eyes playfully at her before starting to read.
