"I never would have thought that Jake would be a romantic." Ningning mumbles as she and Keyu are still outside as they stargaze. After the play and Jake's confession to Bella in the afternoon. The two of them had decided to still stay out to watch the stars before they had to go back home tomorrow.

"He's always been a romantic. He was just never serious with any girl before until he met Bella." Keyu tells her as she looks over at him. Watching as Keyu had his focus on the dark sky that was brightly lit up and decorated by thousands of stars.

"It's getting a bit chilly out here. We should probably start heading inside soon." Ningning brought up as she received no answer from him. She stands up and goes over to one of the seats that were outside to grab a blanket that was left out, so she could use it to warm herself in this chilly and frigid weather.

"To be honest, I just wanted a chance to look at the stars with you tonight." He says quietly as she snaps her head towards his direction.

"You think saying that would make me forget that you called me garrulous earlier today? hmph. I'm still mad at you y'knaw." She replies before sitting back down on the grass besides him. From the side of her eyes, she could almost see him grin in amusement.

"I'm not trying to. Don't worry." He replies. A cold comfortable silence engulfs them as the only sound that could be heard was the steady sound of the wind blowing past them.

"Can I know something Key.." Ningning mumbles all of a sudden as he looks over at her.

"What do you want to know?" He answers her back. Finding her reaction to be peculiar. Was she getting shy? Embarassed even to utter the next few words.

"When did you start liking me. I also found it kind of weird how when I asked you if you wanted to be my boyfriend, you just said yes without questioning me. I usually never get along well with guys. But you never seemed to get annoyed of me or found me weird like everyone else." She asks him in embarassment. Keyu could faintly see how her cheeks had started to turn red. Whether it was because she felt ashamed right now or if it was because of the cold weather, he didn't know. Nor did he want to question it.

Ningning hears him let out a sigh. A gust of cold smoke leaving his mouth as he leans back.

"Would you believe me if I told you that I started liking you during our first year of university? When we were first put in the same English class." He stated as her eyes widens when she hears this.

"You're lying." She whispers as he shook his head a no.

"I did find you a bit peculiar at first though. You probably didn't notice my existence back then because I barely spoke in class. I found it weird how you always fought or argued with the guys in our class. Though I also found it kinda odd how much you spoke to our classmates. You were so loud, always laughing, yet when the teacher asks you to read or speak in English you suddenly go quiet because you didn't want to show that you weren't fluent." He tells her. "It wasn't until this one time where I stayed back in class because I fell asleep during the lesson and nobody was bothered enough to wake me up. I heard the sound of someone humming in class. It woke me up and then I realised that I was the only one left in the classroom with you. You were studying your music notes for your next class and stayed behind. I watched you for a few minutes. I think that day was when I saw a different side of you. You were concentrating on memorising your notes whilst also multi-tasking by working on your english assignment." He then lets out a chuckle.

"I thought of you as a genius. I knew that you were intelligent, yet not many people realises it, nor do you realise it yourself. But honestly though, if it weren't for you staying behind in class that day and humming a tune then I wouldn't have woken up. I was really burnt out that day and who knows if nobody woked me up, I wouldn't have ever woke up. I wouldn't have made it to my next class." He ends his story there as she could just stare at him blankly.

Ningning didn't even realise that during that time it was just the two of them alone in class. When she saw him walking out of the classroom, she thought that he was probably the last one to exit before her. He never spoke in class so she didn't really question why he stayed behind as well. Who knew that it was because he was sound alseep. No wonder why he always sat at the back.

"That's kind of mad that you've liked me for a whole year before we got together." She says before laughing softly.

"That's why when you asked me if I wanted to be your boyfriend. I accepted it. I was happy when you asked me out, to say the least." He said quietly as he covers his mouth as he started to get shy. His action only making her grin mischeviously.

"At that moment, I knew that I wanted to make you fall for me even if that means that I have to go break certain boundaries that I've never broken before."

She blinks her eyes. The girl out of words as she didn't know what to say. Should she say that she scored the jackpot?

"Was my confession enough for you? Will you forgive me now for calling you a person who can't keep their mouth shut." He then says as she threw him a displeased look. Way to ruin the romantic mood in the air, Key.

"I don't know Key. Should I forgive you?" She chimes as she looks away from him.

He pulls on her arms as he brought her closer to him. Keyu having a tight grip on her waist as he had no plans of letting her go. The lad had a wicked grin on his face as he whispers something in her ears.

"Forgive me Princess. I just like to provoke you becuase I like seeing how you react. It was never my intentions to hurt your feelings. In most case, I like it a lot when you never shut your mouth." He whispers as her face only continues to turn more red from before.

"Too close.." She says as she tries to push him away and put some distance between them. It was cold outside but why does she suddenly feel hot.

"Nope. Not letting you go until you forgive me Ning." He says stubbornly as she groans.

"Ughh. Ok, okk. I forgive you. Now let me go, what if someone sees us like this." She says in defeat as it made him smile.

"Nonsense. They're all either busy minding their own business or are already fast asleep. Besides, do you think that I'd really care if one of them catches us like this?" He says as she furrows her brows. "Catches us like what-" Ningning not being able to finish her sentence off when he had pulled her down into a kiss.
