Soo Hee's pov
As if on cue, one by one of them took off their sunnies. I assumed that the receptionist from earlier informed them about the contest winners as she was gesturing her hands towards the group I was in.
All of the Vixx oppas turned their heads look at us. By this time, I felt like my guts were about to come out anytime now. But I held it in not wanting to embarrass myself. Then I felt that feeling like everything in my stomach was twisting.
That feeling stayed there for a good amount of time that I had to clutch my tummy so that it wouldn't hurt so much.
The Vixx oppas slowly made their way towards us with bright smiles plastered on their faces with N oppa leading them. My eyes searched for Ken oppa and then, there he was, walking side by side with Ravi oppa with that infamous eye smile of his.
"Oh goodness, he looks even cuter in real life!" I gushed in my heart still staring at Ken oppa. His eyes looked like they were looking for someone too as his eyes darted to every spot. His gaze landed on mine and he instantly recognised me.
He waved at me and grinned like a child who just got his lollipop. I could feel heat rushing up to my cheeks and I smiled even wider.
Hyo Na, who was sitting beside me reached her hand back and held my hand, giving it a squeeze that I already knew what it meant. She was really really nervous and I returned it. Giving her a signal saying that I was feeling the exact same thing as she was.
Then, the Vixx oppas were literally one feet away from all of us. Realising this, I was hyperventilating in the inside. But on the outside, I just smiled like it was no big deal.
All of us had gotten up to give them a formal bow and we introduced ourselves one by one. Then, it was their turn to introduce themselves even though we already knew who's who. It was for formalities purposes I guess.
"Alright, without further ado, let's go to our partners and chat for a bit. Just to roughly know each other's info" the leader of the group, N oppa said flashing his smile and slipping in a wink right after.
Hyo Na, with her hands still with trembling, reluctantly let go of my hand and slowly made her way towards Hongbin oppa, her partner.
I pursed my lips and looked up to find Ken oppa walking over to me and sitting on the sofa next to me. "Annyeong Soo Hee-ah" Ken oppa grinned greeting me personally for the first time ever.
I said 'hello' back to him and we proceeded to talk about something that had to do with One Piece since I'm also a fan of that cartoon/animation. We spoke to each other as if we had been friends for a long time and I'm glad about that.
At least I didn't have to speak to him like an awkward turtle. Our conversation were interrupted by a squeal coming from nearby.
Ken oppa and the others noticed it too and we all looked towards the direction from where the sound was coming from. It wasn't long until we all saw Soo Yoon unnie already latched onto Hyuk oppa like a leach.
I silently laughed looking at Hyuk oppa who looked like he regretted his life decisions. "Oppa... When can we go?" Soo Yoon unnie asked strecthing her voice to sound as cute as possible and putting her face dangerously close to the Vixx's maknae's face.
"Uhh maybe in a few minutes" Hyuk oppa said clearly uncomfortable, moving his head further away from Soo Yoon's unnie's face.
"I feel sorry for you. FIGHTING!" I saw Ken oppa mouthed to Hyuk oppa and did a 'fighting' hand motion. He noticed me looking at him when he did that and his eyes widened. He inched closer towards me.
"Please don't tell her I did that okay? Please? I didn't mean for you to see it..." he pleaded clasping his hands together and doing an aegyo, hoping that I'll won't tell on him.
"Arasso, I won't tell" I assured him. "You promise?" he asked holding out his pinkie finger. Omo, am I supposed to wrap my pinkie around his to show that I really won't tell on him? "I promise" I slowly curled my pinkie around his.
He grinned and suddenly a loud and clear voice was heard throughout the building. "Okay everyone! the vans are here and waiting for all of you outside. It's time to say goodbye to your family" the receptionist beamed smiling.
Hearing that, my stomach churned. It was doing that so much that it actually stung. The families on the other group got up and gathered with the group I was in. Appa, eomma and Seyoung oppa made their way to us and Ken oppa greeted them with a polite bow followed by his killer smile.
"You're Ken, am I right?" appa asked slightly pointing at the Vixx's main vocal who was standing by my side. "Yup that's me alright" he nodded.
The whole time appa was talking with Ken oppa, I noticed that something was a little bit off with eomma who was beside appa. She was just staring, staring at Ken oppa to be precise. Her eyes not looking anywhere else but him.
I was going to dismiss it thinking maybe's she has never seen someone really handsome like him or something like that but that thought was completely crossed out after I saw her looking at him with sadness. Her eyes, they were just dimmed and down.
I got really confused and was curious as to why eomma was looking at Ken oppa that way and was about to ask her but got interrupted by the receptionist again.
"Attention, Vixx and the six winners, we now ask you to please make your way in the respective vans waiting for you outside. Thank you" she said through the standing microphone at the receptionist table.
"Okay, that's the drill. I guess we have to part ways now Soo Hee-ah. Always be alarmed of everything around you and don't hesitate to call us if you have something to talk about okay honey?" said appa stroking my hair.
I gulped in nervousness and nodded. I smiled trying to hide the feeling but anyone could tell it was fake. Then,as if for the first time, eomma finally turned to look at me and she looked as though she was daydreaming all this time.
" Don't forget to study too okay honey? And of course, don't just go somewhere by yourself. It's dangerous, especially for someone your age" she adviced smiling but I could still sense the sadness in her eyes.
I, too, simply nodded at that and lastly, it was Seyoung oppa's turn. "Yah, you don't do anything you'll regret while you're there. Understand?" he said sternly.
I mentally snorted. At times like this, he'd always turn into a 30-year-old-stern guy. But I know he's just looking out for his dear sibling here... "Ara ara (I know, I know)" I nodded and gave him a breath-stopping hug.
"Ken-ah, I practically don't really know you but I'm giving you the responsibility to take care of my daughter for this one month. Can you do that?" appa asked. Then, I could feel eomma becoming stiff at his sentence.
Okay now, I'm really curious.
Ken oppa chuckled lightly and nodded, "Will do"
Little by little, the other winners made their way out the building with their partners and got into the vans with their bags.
I got hold of my bag and bid my family one last goodbye before supposedly seeing them after another month. Ken oppa and I went out of the building and I felt the cool air of Seoul whoshing.
Ken oppa took my bag and popped it into the van's boot that we will be going into. We both got into the van and I rolled down the window to wave at my family.

Yes yes I know, I haven't updated in like what seemed like years and I'm sorry. I just haven't got the feelin to write these days. Yes it doesn't exactly sound like a reasonable argument and I'm sorry again :) FORGIVE ME AND HAPPY READING!
