Soo Hee's pov
"Is that all miss?" the male waiter asked. "Yup" I nodded.
"Okay, I'll be back with your order in 10 minutes or so" said the waiter . I thanked him and with that, the waiter walked away with my order in his hand.
Last night, I texted eomma the place we will be seeing each other after getting my permission from Ken oppa.
It was at a cafe' in the same mall that I went to last time with Ken oppa. And here I was sitting at a round table, and alone, waiting for eomma who was still nowhere to be seen.
Yess, it's cliche' to meet someone in a cafe' and such but I couldn't think of any other place to go. Besides, this cafe' seemed like the perfect place for me and eomma to have our serious talk.
It was pretty calm and everyone was absorbed in whatever they were doing.
Right about after 10 minutes later, the same waiter came with two hot drinks, a croissant and a slice of blueberry cake- eomma's favourite balanced on a tray.
"Here ya go miss" the waiter stopped and set them down on the table. I thanked him once again and I was left alone, yet again after he had left.
As I took a sip of my latte and two figures caught my eyes. They had just entered the cafe' and their eyes darted at every corner of the place, as though they were looking for someone or something.
Yuppo, you guessed it. It was eomma with Seyoung trailing behind her. I frantically waved my hands in the air until their eyes caught me and they smiled.
They speed-walked towards the table I was at and we did the usual greeting and hugging before eomma grabbed a vacant seat that was in front of me.
"So... You guys have done any activities related to the contest yet" Seyoung questioned and I shook my head as a reply.
"Yesterday was our resting day and it's the same for today. I think the real thing will start tomorrow" I explained- from what I had acknowledged.
He nodded, satisfied with my answer. "Why are you here by the way?" I asked him, confused with his presence being here without me knowing in advance.
"To keep eomma company" he cocked his head at eomma.
It was silent for a minute and no one had said anything until eomma nudged Seyoung oppa's side and slightly nodded at him.
He looked as though he understood the sign she gave him and he straightened himself. "Well... I'll just go ahead and wander in this place while you guys chit chat" he awkwardly exited the cafe' leaving me and eomma who was fidgeting with her handbag.
"Okayy eomma, whenever you're ready" I spoke as I sat up.
(A/N: Guys, I had a really hard time trying to write the part below. I just couldn't decide in what way I would write it without it being confusing. If any of you donuts have a hard time reading the part, be sure to tell me and then I'll try writing it in another style. If I can tho)
It was a sunny day on a Saturday and the weather was just right for families and couples etc. to go and have fun at the water park and that was exactly the place where the Bae family was planning on going to.
Mr and Mrs Bae had just finished loading swimsuits, food and drinks and of course, floaties into the trunk.
Mr Bae started up the car while his wife went into their house to tell her children that they were going in a minute. Hearing that, got them hyped up and they cheered and jumped with glee.
